Very kind and patient Dr Joe will never give in until he finds a way to help you. A very good surgeon and excellent at his many talents in his field. Best doctor ❤ in his field.
This review is for the entire staff from the front Desk all the way to the Drs the pain management center is absolutely the best in the pain management field. They always make you feel comfortable and always listen to your needs. Thank you for bringing my life back to me and my family.
He does not to carehe is bought by the venders. Free launch free Anyang to push the medications the venders are selling. I chose an fusion Decompression surgery over his two internal neo stimulaters. Really two.. when ICame back to him. His first words were “ oh it’s you”. Before that he loved me. Or acted like that. You must do and agree with everything h says or he will treat you you like you are nothing. He use to be a great Dooc Now he is sold to the highest bidder.look for someone else. I was with him for over 10 years. Trust me run.
Ive been going to see Dr. Joe for over a year now for some back issues. Always kept up with my copay etc. This past July I went through a pretty rough seperation from my spouse and money has been tight since then with our divorce looming. Dr. Joes office including Jennifer in the Billing Department have been nothing but helpful and understanding of my situation. They gave me time to get on my feet again before I had to resume payment of my bill. I cant thank them enough for that Thank you Dr. Joe AND Jennifer
Don’t go here if you have a work disability claim. No one in this office will do the paperwork required. The staff are miserable Dr. Josephson rushes thru your appointment. All the procedures I had were a waste of time and money. After leaving this office I found another pain management and was astounded at the difference. The medical equipment and procedures were so different I believe Dr. Josephson was doing nothing. He seems like a great guy but I believe it’s a facade. Consider yourself warned.
I just started to go to Dr Joe. I was having severe pain in my neck. He sent me to get a MRI and we found out I have two bulging discs there with arthritis. He sent me to Millennium Surgery Center and he gave me a epidural injection in my neck. My pain has gone away completely. I love this doctor He has two golden hands. Anyone who suffers with pain should go see him. Sincerely Melinda Sweeney
I found Dr. Josephson to be very personable professional and knowledgeable during my initial consultation. Also interactions with MaryAnne of his office was extremely positive. She was very very helpful to my wife Barbara and we really appreciate it.
I had the pump removed 8 months after it was installed. He placed it in my back and since my back was so fragile it caused severe pain. I had to use a cane to walk and mentally I was confused. How dr Josephson didn’t notice me going down hill I will never understand. He just kept loading me up with Morphine I became worse and he just ignore my condition. The front desk was a mess.
I have been to Dr. Joe multiple times with success AND he is a fun personality as well as an attentive and skilled doctor
Im in so much pain head to toe. Back 7 yrs ago he had me on 60mg of oxycodone per day for 4 yrs. I stopped seeing him bc i sought alternative ways to feel better like hyperbaric oxygen treatments exercising and goin to the gym daily so i didnt have to take opiate meds anymore. Well just last summer i was in another bad car accident and had multiple surgeries on both legs. I started seeing him again after physical therapy was cut off by my insurance and this time around n keep in mind i couldnt go to the gym anymore so i was dealing with my old back n neck pain on top of the new pain. So he puts me on just 30 mg of oxycodone per day this time around which i couldnt understand bc i was on twice that n now im in twice the amt of pain. I asked to have dose increased and got shot down immediately. So in between appts last month i sought other methods to help my pain and a family friend whos a nurse told me about suboxone bc it has a longer half life and itll block the pain receptors longer. So i saw a dr and got some but it made me sick and dizzy. I stopped taking it after a few days and went back to Dr Josephson. He found out i had tried suboxone and i was discharged from the practice Ive been seeing him off n on since he was at UMDNJ before Prospira and thought he would be more understanding. So now i have no meds and no Dr that knows me and my history of pain to go to. Im so upset and confused. I was supposed to get injections in my spine in 2 weeks n now i cant. Its 1 thing to take away my meds and another to totally kick me out of the practice just bc i was trying to improve my quality of life because its awful right now He can go to hell for all i care now Im not even an addict so i can manage without the opiates but its just going to be uncomfortable and Ill be miserable once again. I recommend going to a more understanding Dr n office... Im sitting here wanting to cry bc my pain is running my life and now ive got no Dr to help my pain Unbelievable

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
