If I could rate him no stars I would extremely disappointed in DR. Randazzo’s service. My mother was taking to the ER because she was experiencing vertigo. A MRI was completed and she was discharged. Dr Randazzo didn’t even have the decency to discussed the results of the MRI while she was in the hospital. The diagnose was serious. I feel like he lacks the humanity and compassion I expect anyone in the medical field to possess. My mother left thinking what was wrong was no big deal, my brother is a Nurse Practitioner and he reviewed the results of the MRI and he’s the one that discovered the severeness of my moms condition. At this point if I could provide 0 stars for Dr. Randazzo and his staff, I would. My family is familiar with this doctor and practice as my aunt had 3 back surgeries performed by him years ago. Since my aunt's surgeries were fairly successful, my family decided to use Dr. Randazzo's practice to perform a back surgery that my grandfather needed the week before Thanksgiving 2022. After his surgery, he had a complication with a spinal fluid leak and was made to lay flat on his back for at least 2-3 days which stunted his recovery process. My grandfather has now been in and out of hospitals and rehabs due to complications from this surgery for 2 months and we have been trying to get in contact with Dr. Randazzo (without any success) as there is clearly something still not right. He will not return phone calls or do his due diligence to evaluate my grandfather in the hospital. My grandfather was moved again from his rehab facility to St. Joe's in Paterson last week (where he really did not want to go because of previously receiving poor care), but was told he needed to either go there or to St. Barnabas because those are the only 2 hospitals Dr. Randazzo will visit, however he has yet to show his face. I am truly disappointed and frustrated that my grandfather has not been provided the proper care needed after an invasive surgery like this, especially at his age and the money that has been spent with the practice. Now, he will be turning 80 years old this Friday laying in a hospital bed without any answers as to what is happening and why. After this experience, I will not be recommending Dr. Randazzo or his practice to anyone in need a neurosurgery. This needs to be rectified now.
