Rachid Assina's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Assina literally saved my life twice. First for a fractured neck surgery, within a few weeks no more pain! Healed perfect! Also just had a lower back surgery that 3 other doctors failed at, Dr Assina got it right the first time. This surgeon is perfect. He even called my daughter who had questions from his own phone! If you have a question he answers personally as soon as he can (remember he is a busy surgeon) I can't say enough great things about this man and I thank him a million times. Also, his entire staff will help you with anything, as soon as possible and do it professionally and with friendless. Before this past surgery myself and other family members called his office alot, and each time questions were answered or refered to the doctor who called back ASAP I can honestly say myself and family love his entire staff and Dr. Assina is the best surgeon I've ever had (and being in a few car accidents, I've had quite a few doctors) I only wish I found Dr Assina sooner

I needed my tailbone removed and was given 2 doctors names, one, thankfully being Dr Rachid Assina. I am beyond happy I got him as a referral and I would refer him to anyone who needed to see a neurosurgeon/spine surgeon! He was amazing from Day 1; knowledgeable, helpful, available, calming and kind. His staff is just as wonderful as he is and I’m so thankful to him and his specialty for helping me be able to live my life again after being in 24/7, 365 pain for years! Amazing doctor with great attitude. He is always available and walks you through everything. I was very scared to have a surgery but he was amazing at treating me and helping me with everything. When my prescription couldn't be refilled he went above and beyond on a Saturday night to make sure I got what I needed. Couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Completely explains everything that is going on, and what needs to be done in surgery in terms that someone who is not a doctor can understand!

I've never come across a more caring knowledgeable Dr in all my life. I don't know what impressed me most! Dr Assina's compassion or his skill in his field. I was just lucky he was on staff that day at the hospital. I cannot put into words how Dr Assina handled my situation and for the first time in years I'm pain free. I cannot thank him enough.

My mother was diagnosed with Meningioma and required brain surgery to extract and remove this tumor from her head. Dr. Assina was the best person to entrust my mother to for this procedure as it ended up being a very smooth and successful surgery. One of the best parts about working with Dr. Assina is how quick he is with responding to issues/questions for both pre and post op and helped to make my mother and I feel a lot more comfortable about the operation. He made sure to explain everything clearly to us and was friendly throughout the whole process. The team surrounding him at Saint Claire's hospital as well as his office (notably Demi & Sally) were extremely friendly and made sure to always check in and made their presence known no matter how busy or stressful things had gotten. We are extremely grateful to have found out about Dr. Assina and we would not hesitate to recommend him for any other related procedure.

For 20 years I was seeing Doctor after Doctor and they ddi nothing to help and just kept seeing me. Most of them were arrogant and socially awkward. Dr Assina not only helped me with my surgery, but takes the time and energy to seriously focus on his patients. When you leave its like your friend is taking exceptional care of you. He follows up and is extremely reachable and caring. I have not seen a Dr or staff that would do what they have for me. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Assina whole heartedly. Dr Assina does not treat you like an ATM, he actually Cares and does not just see how much he can make off of you like others have. God bless him. Restored my faith in some doctors.

In December 2022 I thought I was having a stroke at work and 911 was called. Dr. Assina was called to the ER after I had a brain CT. It showed I had bleeding on my brain. He assured me and my family that he was going to take good care of me. I was going to need surgery the following morning. I was very anxious and he calmed my fears. He made sure that I understood everything that was going to happen. Also, he explained what the healing process was going to be like. The surgery went very well and he continued to check on me and my progress. He is an extremely caring and humble human being. You can tell that he really loves what he does and how much he likes helping people. The office staff are also very caring. They are there to help in any way they can. They are accommodating and very pleasant. I would highly recommend Dr. Rachid Assina without hesitation. I am so grateful for him.

Dr. Assina is a great neurosurgery specialist. In November 2022, I suffered a huge brain bleeding and became his brain surgical patient. In such a critical condition, he saved my life and helped me to recover with his professional skills and kindness. My family and I can’t thank him enough for all he has provided.
