List of Thomas A. Lanzilotti Md's Reviews
Excellent! The best! Friendly, professional, thorough. Never rushed, takes all the time needed to answer every question. Nice office friendly environment. In a world where no one cares, everyone is rushed, it’s all about money, this is an oasis. I can recommend my friends and family members with no hesitation whatsoever.
I scheduled an appointment almost a month in advance, for 2 pm. Just like for a doctor's office, for any paperwork that would be required I arrived 20minutes early to get ahead of the game and to do what needs to be done to be able to be taken in at 2. It's past 2:15, and the patient before me goes in.... I am waiting it's about 2:30, mind you I'm staving by this point as I didn't eat anything, so I go get food, It is now past 2:50, and still not taken in. Then just slightly past 3, a paitent in critical condition comes in who looked like he REALLY needed to go in and he was having trouble breaking through the required masks, and there was no way my conscience was going to let me, a younger, healthier 22 year old go in before the gentleman having trouble breathing especially after waiting for 1.5 hours by this point, so I tell the receptionist to take him in first, I am done waiting and that I am just going to go home--I live 10min away, so please call me 10min before I can go in. at 3:36, I get a call to come back in, waiting there....... nothing. At a bit before 4pm, I tell her, I cannot wait any longer, 10 minutes, if I am not taken in, I have a meeting to get to, so please refund me and I can't go in. .. I give it a bit more than 15minutes, and as for a refund. She has trouble giving it to me due to system issues (this review will be updated if by tomorrow the refund is not in my account). At 4:20, the doctor comes out, read to take me as she is finishing my refund, and I am like unless you can guarantee I can be home for a 5pm meeting that I already had moved I can't take it, and it would be pushing it, rushing through an appointment I waited a month for. This place does not have any consideration for your time. Thank God our company servers are down today, as this was supposed to be my appointment during my lunch break--literally if I had to wait this long on a typical work day I would've been fired!! I blocked out 30min of them maybe running behind, and 30min for the appointment. Waiting close to 3 hours is absurd!! This place does not value you--just wants your $$ and knows you do not have too many choices. Find another one, even if it's further if you have any self respect/any respect for your time!
Dr. Lanzilotti save my husband's life back in 1987 thanks to his God given skills my dauther has her father today. Thank you God bless Dr Lanzilotti.
Oh my, what a WONDERFUL, loving, superb doctor's office, from the first step into the waiting room to the entire appt. with the cardiologist. He was kind, welcoming, detailed, patient, listened beautifully, asked great questions including holistic ones (such as emotional/psychological/spiritual health and practices) that might be brought to bear upon the "mystery problem" which another cardiologist could not find. Further testing to be done to try and discern the nature of the issue...But meantime, we're just amazed at the thoughtfulness of this doctor's approach and the reflective way he thought about our situation and pondered it. He seems to very much desire to help.
I found Dr. Lanzilotti to be a warm, compassionate doctor. He spent a great deal of time evaluating my condition and my cardiograms. He also gave me a thorough examination and explained everything, answering all my questions. He also addressed my concerns regarding prognosis. He was personable, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. I sincerely recommend him.
He was acceptable the first couple years I went to him but lately he's been distracted, takes a very long time during the visits, is rude, uncertain of how to handle my issues, and belittling. I wouldn't trust him in an emergency.
In the beginning I thought Dr. Lanzilotti was great. He asked in depth questions to get a thorough background on me. But after I had put on 15 pounds since my last visit, I asked for help because I felt out of control. He then proceeded to give me a sermon about Christianity and I left his office with him saying he will pray for me to find Jesus. Really???
Sad to say I don't think this man has checked my chart ahead of time - before any of my appointments over the years. It's so obvious. He seems lost about what my condition is and what medications he's given me in the past 3 years! He contradicts his theories of what I should do from one visit to the next. I've been badgered about things that I've said I've been trying very hard to do but with no results. Knowing I was already in afib and a rapid heart rate he tells me that if my symptoms are correct I could have cancer! He suggested a medication and then said that the scenario would be different if I were taking fish oil; which I was and had been in my chart for THREE years! He told me to stop taking something my primary Dr. prescribed without even talking to my primary! The waiting room was disgustingly filthy. I had hoped the exam room would be clean but nope. That too was filthy! I have left there crying the last two times I've seen him because of his harshness and argumentative attitude. He said I was making excuses about not being able to afford a piece of exercise equipment or finding room for it in my house. He has no idea how little we live on and how small my home is! How dare he! He insulted me, belittled me, and more. I got NO encouragement for the improvement I DID have! Nothing! He takes at least an hour IN the exam room because he takes so long entering everything into the computer. When he couldn't get a BP about 4 or 5 times he finally said, "Well I have to put something down. Let's just put ......." Seriously? What if it was really high? I was already in afib which often throws my BP off. I don't know what has happened to this man the past 6 - 8 months but wow have things changed with him. I hope he's ok but I do NOT recommend him.
Dr. Lanzilotti is extremely thorough and caring. He is great at follow-ups!
I would very highly recommend Dr. Lanzilotti because he is extremely knowledgeable in his field, and he is an extremely caring person and doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
