Dr Shah is amazing my poor daughter was suffering with an awful rash for over a month. Her current dermatologist ignored all of my concerns and allowed her to suffer. Within day s of seeing Dr Shah we have seen such drastic improvement in a few days . Bottom line she is amazing and so happy we found her . She listens and actually cares and it’s hard to find great doctors like this

I went to her office for consultation of my father's skin condition. Dr. shah prescribed one medicine and one ointment for his skin condition. but instead of relief my father's condition was worsening and when i call office again i was ignored then i told i am a doctor too please try to understand situation which is worsening and she replied that she need commotion to speak. i was shocked that she THE way she insensitive to my father's condition which was worsened after the medicine given by Dr. shah. as being doctor she can treat me like this then i can understand situation of other patients. i would never recommend Dr. shah.

I had a great experience with Dr. Shah, she was very thorough. She answered all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed. Great bedside manners. I definitely recommend her. Her staff was also very nice.

Do not recommend, tries to rush out of the room from the instant the appointment starts and can’t even muster up the strength to pretend to care about you for a minute! Physician assistants were very kind though.

Dr. Shah is easily the most knowledgeable and personable dermatologist I have encountered. I have had a skin condition on my face for over 20 years and have seen countless dermatologists and Dr. Shah was able to finally give me a diagnosis. She has provided a treatment that now allows me to feel comfortable in my own skin! I am very grateful to have met Dr. Shah!

I love these people. So far, every time I come in - they never make me wait even a minute. And yet, they are always quite busy. Doctors are very attentive, knowledible, staff is very helpful and efficient. Their treatments never failed for me. I always had a very pleasant experience visiting them. Thank you.

I happen to be a medical provider in a busy network of clinics in NYC, which also includes a day in a procedure clinic doing some similar procedures (like cryotherapy) as the Derm group. So I understand the business of medicine and how productivity and being fast is a huge focus. But wow. Dr. Shah is the first provider I’ve ever encountered (as a patient or as a colleague) that tries to spend less than 5 mins with her patients and doesn’t even try to have an ounce of bedside manner. Not sure how any of the Dermatologists are, but would never refer patients, friends, family, strangers here. Unless your only priority is being in a doctor’s office for 10 mins, without any real counseling or anticipatory guidance. 2 stars for front admin and MAs that still have great bedside manner despite being in a busy practice.

I had a visit with Dr. Shah to examine 2 pimples on my face that I was concerned with. As soon as I arrived at the office, they immediately was concerned about collecting my co-pay. I was called into an examine room where the nurse spent no more than 4 minutes with me. Then Dr. Shah came in looked at my face and told me I shouldn't worry about anyhting. She spent no more than 2 minutes with me. I guess I wasn't important enough to be there. I have been requesting a refund of my co-pay for 4 months with no avail, since I had met my deductible. I WILL NEVER VISIT THAT PRACTICE AGAIN, ESPECIALLY DR. SHAH!

Cold. Snotty. Impatient. Behaved like an adolescent mean girl.

My wife visited Dr. Shah's office this past September. She indicated that Dr. Shah was efficient and pleasant. The issue, however, arose after the visit over a billing matter. This practice is managed by a large medical group--Schweiger Dermatology. Their customer service is horrific--long wait times, boilerplate email responses entirely unrelated to the issue at hand, and representatives who are almost impossible to understand. Schweiger representatives indicated that they'd sent messages to the practice's office manager. Of course, they were unwilling to provide specific contact information for that individual. No one ever got back to us. I'm grateful that this was only about money and not my wife's health. I shudder to think what we would have done if we needed to communicate with this physician about something serious. If there's any possibility that you'll need to follow up with this practice after a visit, steer clear.
