Dr Spates is the best dermatologist I have seen in a long time. He takes his time, listens to your concerns and is honest about what can be done, and explains all the possible aide effects. Great bedside manner, makes you feel comfortable. He knows his stuff!!! I brought my 10 yr old son to him and he took the same time with him that he took with me. Exceptional Dr!!!

August 13, 2018 ----Was my 1st time meting with Dr. spates--His bedside manner is "OUTRAGEOUS ". I can't say enough about this Dr., So caring- So thoughtful -took the time to explain the procedure - Called me when I got home....Expressed the fact that if I had ANY questions or did not like the way something looked to call him- Not the office - Not the nurse but Him....Oh & His Nurse was - So Pleasant -Friendly - just "FANTASTIC ".. Love this Doctor !!!!!!!

I saw Dr Spates for a Mohs procedure. He couldn't have been more attentive and caring. He told me what he was doing and was very concerned about how I was feeling. The office and staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Dr. Spates and his staff were consummate professionals. Everyone was friendly and upbeat and put me at ease. Dr. Spates provided all the information I needed about my skin cancer and future steps I should take. He called me personally about two hours after the procedure to see how I was.

What an awesome doctor!! Very knowledgeable, polite and upbeat! My mother was very nervous about going but he and his staff put her at ease in no time. We're blessed to have found him. His staff is great, as well. Couldn't ask for a better doctor!
