Glashofer Marc's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Glashofer is truly an exceptional clinician with superb doctoring skills. From skin cancer to bouts of acne, he is able to diagnose and treat quickly and I appreciate how every problem is serious to him (he doesn't discount acne as a "minor" problem compared to say skin cancer or other cosmetic concerns). His bedside manners are also excellent and I appreciate how he takes the time to know the patient instead of just the problem.

Dr. Marc Glashofer he was very knowledgeable and excellent dermatologist he knows his stuff. he removed a few unsightly skin tags. so give his office a call

When I first learned that I needed Mohs Surgery to remove skin cancer cells from my face I was truly terrified. Hearing the word "cancer" in itself is enough to enhance your stress. Next came the task of choosing the surgeon to perform the procedure. I began phoning the offices of recommended surgeons. I can honestly say I chose Dr. Glashofer based on the conversations I held with his office staff, particularly Matthew. His conversation with me was solely about ensuring I was 100% at ease with what I was to expect for the procedure and to answer all of my questions. It is very exceptional to find that level of commitment and caring. Day of the procedure, enter Dr. Glashofer. He comes into your room wide-eyed and cheery. His bed-side manner is truly typical old-school. He phoned me the day before the surgery to put my mind at ease and answer any further questions. The day of the surgery he explained everything he was going to do before he did it & as he was doing it, continuously ensuring I was OK from start to finish. His surgical skills are truly impeccable. Cells had to be removed from quite a large area from my hairline towards my eye, requiring 3x separate entries before the cancer was fully removed. 3 weeks later I can say that the area has healed remarkably well; a true testament to Dr. Galshofer's surgical skills. Once the procedure is completed you do not just walk away. Dr. Glashofer provides you a means to reach him if needed as well as follows up with a phone call to you the next day. You are not merely a statistic. You are truly his patient. I highly recommend Dr. Glashofer!!! Kudos to him and his entire office staff!!

Dr. Glashofer combines excellent surgical skills with an outstanding personality. His vitality sweeps into the room with him, creating a very positive atmosphere before, during, and after completing Mohs surgery on a basal cell carcinoma. With the wound being close to my eyebrow, Dr. G assured me that his suturing would leave my eyebrows perfectly aligned and they are! I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from him the next day, just checking that everything was going well with my recovery. What an unusual happening in this day to find a doctor who really cares for his patients' well-being!

Excellent. He and his staff were knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything he was doing very well. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a dermatogical surgeon.

I scheduled myself to have a full body checkup. Dr. Glashofer came in like a cold, fierce blast of wind ready to get my appointment over with in record time!! He spoke fast and kept looking at his watch. I never got the full body checkup. He asked me in a hurried voice "what is your most important concern". I swiftly got the impression that was all he wanted to address!! I, however, had taken the time to bring a list of concerns with me and expected him to address them. But all he wanted to do was address my hair loss. He did quickly look at the problems on my face and tell me his charge to remedy them- then he said that if I wanted more time i would have to wait until he saw the 5 people in the waiting room!! (I want to note that i was on time for my appointment but he was not!! If he had started at 2:30pm which was my appointment time then maybe he would not have been behind schedule and would have had enough time for my appt with him.)I sat there in disbelief of what I had just experienced. He was curt, rude and unprofessional. It was an extremely upsetting experience for me.What is the world coming to if Doctors are more concerned about the "time" it takes to address a patient's concerns than to actually care about" taking the time to address the concerns" and make recommendations!!

Dr. Glashofer is the epitome of what a doctor should be. After minor surgery he called me to check up on how I was feeling. You don’t find that in today’s world. Other doctors can learn from reading this review. During my initial visit he was professional ,very personable and took care to be as gentle as possible during the surgery and suturing. Again he is what a doctor is supposed to act and be like. Keep up the good work doc. Thanks

Dr. Glashofer and his staff gave me OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! He was very patient and took great care in preforming his surgery. I am very grateful that i had him and his staff, MK and Maryann taking care of me. i would recommend to anyone who needs dermatalogy care to go to Dr. Glashofer. .
