I tried to make an appointment with Doctor shields per my Doctor. The office staff said he doesn’t see new patients. It seems like nowadays it is customary for Doctors to open an office and never be present and let some intern, nurse, or physician assistant to run the place. So, the place is under his name and another person runs the place. Poor ethics or, a new way of making money?

Saw Dr Denier. Had a successful colonoscopy so she made no further attempt to diagnose my continued symptoms. As a matter of fact, they outright refused to give me an appointment when I called.

The doctor and procedure were fine. However, trying to get the billing sorted has been horrific. I needed a letter from the doctor for insurance. I called after 30 days 'we're working on it' . After 60, called again-same answer. They stopped returning calls. I came to office with info to help with submittal and was told they finally had the letter. My bill reached collection last week and they still hadn't sent the letter. They said they'd try to mail letter but I don't need to call back!

Both Dr. Shields and his Nurse Practitioner were kind and helpful. I was treated professionally and promptly. Highly recommend!

This is by far one of the best doctors that I have ever seen. His NP is very sweet, intelligent, and caring. It is obvious that she loves her job. Dr. Shields and Mary Beth bothe want to seriously get to the bottom of the problem and resolve it if possible. Both are easy to talk to and listen to what you have to say. Dr D. Shields, Mary Beth and all if the office staff are very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this Dr. David Shields to my friends and family.
