List of Donald C. Huston's Reviews
When I was a teenager my mom took me to see Dr Huston as I was having severe headaches, but as I had difficulty describing the type of headache pain I was having, he told my mom that I needed to see a psychiatrist. In my early twenties after having a headache for literally 5 days straight, I was diagnosed by a competent doctor as suffering from migraine headaches.
Firstly, I want to say that my review is no reflection on Dr. Sheetz, as my few visits with him were very nice and I found him to be caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Dr Huston is horrible…he is pompous and condescending and incredibly robotic in his person-to-person demeanor. He likes he himself talking if you try to speak, he has no issue letting you know he’s annoyed. He’s not a good listener, and if you have any personal beliefs or questions, you are automatically dismissed. I know this through personal experience and the experience of family members. The reason for today’s review, in particular, is for the outrageous why I was spoken to on the phone by whoever answered at 2:45 PM June 20th, 2022. I explain to her that I had recently been in the hospital and I was needing to follow up with Dr Sheetz per my instructions. My condition is quite serious and in order to get anything else taken care of I must see or at least communicate with Dr Sheetz so that I can get referrals for the care I need. When I calmly questioned her on why it would take so long to see my doctor, she aggressively… Very aggressively, went on a tangent for over a minute without taking a breath. I asked her why she was speaking to me that way. She continued to speak to me that way, accrediting her annoyance of having had to repeat herself about something I didn’t understand. I have never been spoken to that way by a customer care person EVER. Bewildered and dumbfounded by her demeanor and her justification of it, I had to hang up. She should not be allowed to speak to anyone on the phone… Ever. She seemed to reflect Dr. Houston’s demeanor with his patients. I guess that rubs off. This office has lost me permanently as a client. Again, having nothing to do with Dr Sheetz himself, who I find to be wonderful. But Dr. Houston being the alternative, and the employee’s treatment of me, I am done. Now with urgent medical care needed I have to find a new primary care doctor, which is frustrating and upsetting.
Worst doctor ever, rude, obnoxious, doesnt let you speak very ignorant stay away from this doctor!
I would not recommend to anyone.
A terrible doctor and person. Seems to have personal issues that affect his memory and everyday demeanor. No communication skills whatsoever. Wouldn't trust him to clean my toilet. Definitely a racist too. Introduced himself as a 4th generation American without making eye contact. I was there 3 times for a CDL medical card and he didnt recognize me.
Worst human being I've met. Spent my time and money building himself up in his own mind during MY appointment. Totally clueless. Didn't realize I had been to his office 2 times prior. He really doesn't care about his patients. His billing department made just as many mistakes. Stay clear of this nut case. He has obvious issues and I wouldn't trust him with my health or yours.
He's ignorant. Doesn't listen to you. Just wants to rush you out the door.
The heads and skins of the animals he has killed, which are many, including rare exotic animals from worldwide safari's are used as part of the décor in this medical office. Arrogant as the day is long. Q. What's the difference between God and a doctor? A. God doesn't think he's a doctor.
Dead animal heads & skins killed on exotic safari hunts are used for the office décor. Arrogant animal killer.
They don't return phone calls after leaving messages. Dr. Huston can be very curt. Prescriptions with "no refills" & calls into office to have them refilled can take days! Seems like everyone in the office is so busy that they forget how helpful a SMILE can be!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
