They are fast and courteous and just nice overall

Dr Joe always knows exactly what to do. Never had a problem with his care. My only complaint about the practice is sometimes you are on hold for a half an hour or so to talk to somebody or have to wait until the next day to get a call back.

The Reconstructive Orthopedics practice has quality in every area - excellent doctors, quality X Ray techs, helpful medical assistants and knowledgeable receptionists. Dr Joe Bernandini is experienced and knowledgeable. He listens well, has an excellent “bedside manner” and seems like he still loves his job. He’s excellent at diagnosis and appropriate treatment, not over-treatment.

I have the whole thing recorded. Went to see him for a second opinion involving a knee dislocation I suffered while at work. Every step of the way with this injury has been awful, but this man was the absolute worst I have ever experienced! Reading all the other bad reviews, my experience was the same. Thin walls so you can hear his every word about you, condescending, had no clue about why I was there and sent me home to wait a week because he needed to see my MRI. I go back and he tells me, “Oh, we could have pulled these up.” Didn’t believe me about my concerns and insinuated that I was lying to make some sort of claim. Kept talking about me going “down a dark road” and mentioned that he “works with these guys and knows what they go through”, implying workers comp I assume. Useless and unprofessional.

Dr J. Bernardini is very professional and knowledgeable. He sent me for a second opinion without hesitation, he was “double checking “ his opinion. Both specialist had the same findings, which assured me even more that I chose the right specialist. His bedside manner is outstanding. He is friendly, smiles when he greets you. He explains the whats & how’s, answers questions and is “ matter of fact”. After a shoulder fracture he simply said that I may not get full ROM back but I should gain most of it. No beating around the bush, no false hope but that’s the facts in a friendly way. Dr. J. Bernardini treats everyone with dignity and respect. His son, Dr Brad, treated my daughter a few years back and he too treated her with dignity and respect, great bedside manner. I have a great deal of respect for those in the practice, from office staff, radiology, techs and doctors. Thanks for making an unpleasant experience of fractures tolerable.

He listens, explains everything in terms that a person with no medical training can understand, listens again and answers all questions! Wonderful doctor!
