Karen Krieg's Online Review Report Card

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Krieg and the staff at Rowan Medical... I have been a patient of Dr. Krieg for ten years and actually followed her to her present practice at Rowan even though it is 90 miles away from my home. Never waited more than ten minutes in the waiting room or 15 minutes in the exam room but I underestand that sometimes there are others who may need more care. Dr. Krieg always has time to answer my questions and takes the time to assuage any concerns. Dr. Krieg calls me with results in a timely fashion but if I am concerned sooner, I call and receive a call back. Love that this is a teaching practice so meet resiedents learning from the doctor as well.

I have to say I completely disagree with the other reviews. I've been going to Rowan obgyn for some years. Ive never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes. Dr. Krieg has been amazing. Im currently having several test done and the staff has been very helpful and supportive. And they have pretty pink gowns which are just much nicer than those institutional blue gowns!

She made me feel so uncomfortable. She told me I had a lump in my breast, I felt nothing. I went to another doctor and learned that I was fine. I’ll never forget the misery she put me through. Find another Obgyn!

She told me I had a lump in my breast and I needed to see an onchologist. Needless to say I was very upset. No comfort from her...a very cold woman. It's years later and I'm fine. There was no lump and I warn others NOT to go to her!!!!

I saw her once through Rowan University in Washington Twp., NJ. WORST experience I ever had with a GYN. I went to her because my husband and I are trying to have a baby after my tubal reversal. She was so rude, asking me "Why are you even here, you are not due for an exam?" when I told her why I was there she was even worse "You're not pregnant so I'm not giving you blood pressure medication, tell your DO to call me and I'll suggest it." She made me so uncomfortable and her bedside manner is horrendous. I will go to another office before I go back to her. This was really upsetting considering I'd been a patient of Dr. Anthony Salerno for several years now and I have seen others in the office who were all wonderful. She's a terrible addition to their office.

I wish 0 stars was allowed. She legit made me uncomfortable to the point where I am scared to go to a different gyno. She called me an “idiot” for not wanting birth control pills and didn’t warn me when it was the time for the smear test. Keep in mind I was freshly 18, didn’t know what was happening and didn’t know there was no reason for me to get a pap smear. I said it hurt very bad multiple times and she gave no response just continued doing the test and the pain got worse. All she had to say was rude comments and pushed what she felt like was right not what was right by normal standards.

Leaving this practice was the best thing I ever did. Never waited less than an hour to be seen, often 1 hour in waiting room then another half hour in the exam room for a 5 minute exam and then get the bums rush out the door. Multiple patients in waiting room with appointments booked for same time slot. Once I was literally 5 minutes late to an appointment and they had the nerve to call me. Staff is rude and not helpful. They are unprofessional. Once had someone barge in the room while I was having a pelvic ultrasound and she proceeded to have an argument with her co worker who was with me, all the while with the door open. The Dr said nothing. Dr Kreig seems nice enough and competent but nothing is worth dealing with this assembly line approach to patient care. Horrible experience every time I went. Some of the other doctors have a terrible bedside manner.

Everything was fine, the staff etc. it was the doctor who was the problem!! I found her to be cold and uninterested in my concerns. I was fortunate to find a most caring doctor and I would advise anyone reading this review to do the same.

She made me feel uncomfortable from the start. She does not listen. She told me there was a lump in my breast, but upon getting a mammogram I found out that I was alright. I have never forgotten the experience!

Her bedside manner was horrible, off-putting and cold. I had an agonizingly painful biopsy I was not prepared for or advised of beforehand.
