For years, I suffered from chronic lower back pain with no real relief from medication, injections or exercises. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, degenerative discs and nerve damage/pain up until 6 months ago. Dr. Shah and his associates did a decompression and spinal fusion of L3-L5 on 2/2/22. First, I want to give thanks and praise to GOD, for I am truly blessed by the Lord with this healing miracle. Secondly, I want to thank Dr. Shah for his dedication to improving the lives and health of his patients. Today, I am nearly pain free. I say nearly because it is only on occasion that I wake up with some minor aches and a little stiffness, of which that all goes away after I do some stretching. My posture and overall health has drastically improved. Before, I used to slouch forward or to the side while sitting and standing and now I stand tall and sit with my back ramrod straight. Going into this surgery, you could say I had some concerns and doubts that the surgery would be successful. I was hopeful that the surgery would at least prevent further nerve damage to my left leg. I feel this surgery has changed my life for the better. I would highly recommend Dr. Rahul Shah, M. D. and his associates to anyone who is plagued with neck and back pain.
