Both of my sons had surgery with Dr. Jacobs Ian (ENT) at this surgical center and on both occasions the nursing staff was AMAZING and went above and beyond to make my sons comfortable, ease their nerves and explained everything they were doing step by step in a friendly child appropriate terms. The rooms were very clean and quiet, they were well staffed and all the nurses, anesthesia, Dr. Jacobs and staff were highly professional, kind, and friendly. They answered all of our questions and make my boys comfortable during their surgical procedure.

The lady at the front desk (Maryann) I believe in Voorhees was incredibly rude when we first walked in. She asked us “can I help you?” With the nastiest look on her face, like we were inconveniencing her! And then she told us we were too early for our sons tonsillectomy. We were 15 mins early! Although she was awful, the nurses and Dr. Jacobs were incredible! The Nurse we had, I believe her last name was Wallace, she was absolutely amazing with our son and I will always be grateful for her. Dr. Jacobs was the best too, so polite and made us feel so comfortable and listened to all of our questions.

Celes is rude and incompetent. Yells at patients and employees. Curses under her breath. And talks bad with blonde lady with glasses.

They forced additional 'diagnostics' on us that were not covered by our insurance without telling us 'before' they could have tubes put in my child's ears. Long story short now I can't afford the surgery after this little surprise and they won't budge. DO NOT LET THEM TRY TO RUN 'ADDITIONAL TESTS', THEY ARE TAKING YOUR WALLET FOR A RIDE.

We use this location as an alternate to the main hospital in Philly due to location for certain out patient procedures/chemo. This place is amazing. The entire staff is outstanding. I can not say enough good things about CHOP and their entire team and both locations.

Dr. Jacobs helped my little one hear again, he had a bad set of tubes out in and his old doctor kept putting it aside as no big deal. After Dr. Jacobs put the new set in he hasn’t had any problems. Never had to wait long in the office, staff is very courteous and is there for any questions you need answered, definitely recommend 10/10.

The nurses and staff went above and beyond. They are super nice. Took care of my daughter throughout the surgery. Call the evening after the surgery and the days after. Dr Handler and his surgery team are awesome.

I only came here for the covid testing pop up they have outside. It was really quick, not a long wait at all. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Beware. We went to a cardiologist appointment for my son, and the doctor wanted to run some tests during the visit. The doctor was Horizon Omnia Tier 1, but the tests were Tier 2 without informing us (and without giving us an option to be tested elsewhere) and now have a $3000 bill. This was a non-emergency visit. Unacceptable. I had thought highly of CHOP before, but they need to be absolutely transparent with how they handle patient insurance, especially Omnia plans. I felt it was deceptive.
