List of David Gubman's Reviews
I’ve been with Gubman for over 10 years. The office staff and the doctor were extremely unprofessional during the last few visits. Gubman was not willing to answer my question by saying “You have to trust me on this. I would have to give you a whole course on optometry for you to understand” and his staff over charged me by $200 and confidently snapped with “do you want your contacts? “ until I challenged and then they realized a mistake was made. Not once was an apology offered. My children’s glasses were not properly fitted either. It makes me wander how much I’ve been overcharged in the last 10 years and the competency of the doctor if he is offended by patient’s questions. Don’t repeat my mistake.

I have been going to Dr. Gubman for years. He's a great doctor, and his staff is amazing. I have switched insurances, paid out of pocket when I did not have insurance, and his staff has helped me through it all. I don't know why other people have left bad reviews, his office in Voorhees is great.
Honestly , this office deserve 0 stars , not 1 They are making you pay for their own mistakes , not returning calls , its took almost 4 weeks to get glasses . And if you complaining and trying to make it right , they cancelling appointment and dont want to see you and your family again !
To be honest, this office deserves 0 stars, not 1 They make them pay for their own mistakes, they don't call back, it took almost 4 weeks to get points. And if you complain and try to fix it, they cancel all appointments for whole family and dont want to see you again !!!

Dr. Gubman is a very nice person. However, be ready for aggravation when dealing with his office staff for billing issues, insurance claims and etc. Is it worth of it? Absolutely not!
I had forgotten how greedy American doctors are, especially if you have a fair insurance plan. Extra appointments, fear mongering, ridiculous forms you have to sign telling you the state of NJ requires this... Horrible. Came of contact lenses, $251 later, no contact lenses. Lots of fear & concern that I would always require glasses in addition to contact lenses and that their is no avail contact lens in my Rx (not to worry Amer Best got it correct in one visit). Horrible person, terrible Dr
Terrible. Do not recommend. doctor was nice but front end bad.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
