I have been waiting a while for this appointment, and took time off from work. They just called and cancelled my appointment because the doctor has other obligations. They called the day before the appointment to cancel. They offered me an appointment 3 weeks away. Extremely unprofessional.

I went to see Dr Butani on Wednesday April 7th. After consultation, he recommended that surgery was needed to remove a Kidney stone that was to big and blocking. Dr. Butani said he would have his scheduler Colene, which he tried to call but she had left for the day to schedule the surgery. He said. Colleen would call me the following day, Thursday April 8th. Today is Thursday April 15, 2021 and I am still waiting for Colene to call me. I have called and left quite a few messages and not even a call back.I have never experience such unprofessional behavior from a medical standpoint. Especially from a Doctor who came highly recommended with good reviews until now. Obviously, I am not waiting any longer for a Doctor who doesn't have the politeness or courtesy of returning a call to let me know I am not a priority. If you can’t be kind, at least have the decency to be respectful. I will not be returning to Dr. butani’s office, nor would I ever recommend.

Dr. Butani was more concerned that I pronounced his name wrong than treating me as a patient. He gave me faulty information about my situation. I went to Jefferson in Phila. after consulting with other Urologists. Dr. Butani caused me a lot of unnecessary stress.

Dr. Butani took the time to listen to my (incredibly long and ridiculous) story and never made me feel like a fool. He made fantastic suggestions and really seemed to want to guide me in the right direction. I am very thankful that I came here.

Dr. Rajen Butani is a capable, skilled, concerned surgeon. He is so extraordinary that I wish he could be cloned! We need more people like him in the medical profession.

Dr Butani performed surgery on 3/20/19 to remove my prostate. I am 67 years old. Today is 4/12/19 & I feel great. I have close to 100% control of my bladder & I am walking 5 to 6 miles a day. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr Butani as my surgeon.

I totally disagree with the previous review. I have been a patient of Dr. Butani for several years. He performed a bypass procedure on my ureter. He is very compassionate and professional.
