i visited ruchika patel, md due to a 1st time and sudden flare up of polymyalgia rheumatica aka instant arthritis of my hips and shoulders. i could barely get off the commode or get into bed, my arms were worthless. i'm 50 and fit... i waited 1.5 weeks for the appointment. never slept more than an hour without waking in pain. the doctor was scheduled to go on paternity leave soon after my visit. this doctor never touched me. she asked me questions and stated it was probably osteoarthritis. "yea from left field right" she prescribed a hip xray,and blood work and promised to call me 3 days later. 5 days later no call. i called her and she was on leave. the reps said they would forward my call to her and 3 days later no response. the clinic she was at was apologetic and refunded my money but i wasn't going back to them. i went to a doctor in haddon heights and he knew what i had in minutes with a thorough exam and im being treated just fine. ruchika patel cost me a month of much pain, no work and never an apology. shameful.
