I personally knew Dr.Polinet when he was a spring chicken! Fresh on the beat! Very intelligent doctor and calm caring with great bedside manner. As a nurse working with Dr.Polinet, I saw him in action carefully considering and assessing each patient as an individual. Addressing their needs in a timely yet compassionate fashion. He didn’t hesitate to ask us nurses questions if he didn’t understand something or needed help. He was a complete professional then 20 years ago so by now I’d gather he is golden and stellar. He was also a great teacher of newer doctors and very informative. My one regret is never meeting his veterinarian wife and their Rhodesian ridgeback dogs or kids that he dreamed of owning. Back in November was the first time I went to David R. Polonet for an emergency surgery. As I had a very serious leg break in a foreign country on vacation around holiday time, Dr. Polonet made time for me and took care of my needs as soon as I was able to return home. Him and his team did a great job explaining everything to me and making me confident in my surgery in such short notice. Polonet was extremely professional, caring, and spoke to me like an old friend. He gave me his complete undivided attention and stayed with me as long as necessary in follow-up visits to make sure I was on the right track to recovery.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident in 2013 and was fortunate Dr. Polonet was the surgeon that did the surgery on my knee. His reputation is well deserved. I wish he was available for non emergent orthopedic symptoms!

I was blessed that when I was rushed to the emergency room after a terrible car accident I got Dr Polonet. I feel he saved my leg and is remarkable. He explains everything, takes he time with you and his bedside manner is tops.
