Perry Herman's Online Review Report Card

I had a number of appointments with Dr. Herman. He was nice enough, but I needed pain management. There was no plan put in place for my treatment. I tried to contact Dr. Herman several times to discuss my concerns. I left multiple messages with his staff, but was told Dr. Herman doesn't "dial out" and I needed to explain my concerns with staff first. Then they would put me through. Never heard from Dr. Herman. His staff was uncaring and rude with their explanation. Horrible way to treat a person, but a pain management patient... unacceptable. There are many Doctors out there, I suggest using a different practice.

I’ve been under Dr. Herman’s care for six months. Visits are long and thorough. All health concerns are addressed immediately. Great knowledge of functional medicine. Highly recommend.

The staff and Dr. Herman very friendly and get back to you right away. He helped me get the right treatment after being put through the ringer by other doctors who just used me as a guinea pig because of my insurance! I feel 90% better and I am so grateful my friend John referred me to him! He's the absolute best hands down! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Herman is compassionate and responsive to his patients' needs. His office staff are also wonderful - friendly and competent. I recommend this practice 100%!

This doctor refuses to return test result phone calls. I have called everyday for an entire week. He refuses to call and tell me blood and xray results. I have spoken multiple times to staff and they keep telling me he will call back. Nothing. Im sorry I wasted my money and my ins co. money and time on this guy. Now I will never know what is going with me. Next doctor...

Dr Herman has finally been recognized as a ‘Top 100 physician of NJ’. His demeanor is warm and caring. He not only treats physical problems but takes a wholistic approach, often inquiring about other aspects of my life. His office is well managed with courteous and professional employees. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen.

You're never rushed when you visit Dr Herman. He takes time and discusses the different treatment options that you have. He listens to what you say which is important with chronic pain. I would definitely recommend him.

My experience with Dr Herman has been so positive. Having been through several other doctors with less than positive results I decided to try a Pain Management doctor. I am so glad I did. He answered all my questions and offered a clear and concise treatment plan. His cortisone shots worked magic and the exercises and advise he offered were extremely helpful. I highlyrecommend him.

I have suffered with pain in my right knee for over 14 years since knee surgery for meniscus & cartridge. In these years I have had a series of Synvic shots after the surgery, and it did not work. The last 8 years the pain was so bad I had trouble walking any distance, I had a limp, could not walk steps, could not do athletic activities, like tennis, bowling or pickle ball. About three years ago I was given a new series of shots but again no relief. I have seen three different Orthopedists, had x-rays, MRI's no bone to bone contact. All they would say is it is Arthritis, and to take Advil as needed. Well the good news is at the urging of a friend they strongly recommended Dr. Herman. I made the appointment and saw the Doctor two weeks ago. He performed a nerve block, a new procedure and IT WORKED!! For the first time in 14 years I am pain free and will go back to the gym and bowling to start. Thank you Dr. Herman you changed my life.

Terrible. Never gets back to his patients when you call. Only has office help call and they don’t have the answers. Always wait over an hour for my appt. will never go back.
