Bonita Gillard's Online Review Report Card

This provider is one I would not recommend to any person. Her bedside manner is poor, her attention to parents is none existent, and she has missed problems on numerous occasions. My family will never see her again, and I hope that the message is received by all Watchung Pediatric patients.

As a person who works in and with medical providers daily, I am confident to say do not send any child to see Dr Gillard. With 2 terrible interactions she is not suited to be a Pediatrician. My daughter now age 2 had her first interaction in 2021 with her. A missed diagnosis of RSV forced her into the hospital with a terrifying interaction for a 9 month old and new parents. This year after a stern email to Watchung Medical Group and no response or support or even acknowledgment from their staff we had the unfortunate experience of seeing Dr Gillard again. This time was far less serious, with a missed ear infection diagnosis, which unfortunately lead to her being sent home, to school and told that she is just teething. Thankfully we took her back and saw Dr Diaz an absolutely amazing provider we love and so does our child. If there is not suggestion it would be to include in your patient profile to not see any Dr Gillard under any circumstance and if possible look elsewhere for overall support as the staff sees fit to neglect parents concerns. We are trusting you with our children and feedback and follow up to every email is important. You’ve truly made a parent completely lose confidence in your ability to care and communicate and I personally will be reaching out through every potential way to ensure my message is heard.

Dr. Gillard has been my choice of pediatrician since my children were born. She’s extremely personable and has excellent bed side manners. Very happy with all the Watchung Pediatric doctors.

I LEFT THE PRACTICE AFTER SEEING HER. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FACT THAT I COULD NEVER SEE THE SAME DOCTOR AND ONCE I SAW HER I WAS DONE. HORRIBLE ATTITUDE...SEEMED TO ALMOST LAUGH AT MY SON FOR BEING UPSET...DISGUSTED BY HER. AND THE DESK STAFF WAS RUDE. I HAVE DISCOURAGED PEOPLE FROM GOING THERE AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.

Dr. Gillard has been our pediatrician for almost 12 years! She is an amazing doctor. Always takes such great care of her patients! My son was very sick at 21 months and Dr. Gillard helped us through it all!

We have been with Dr Gillard for 17 years. I could not have asked for better care through the years (and it wasn't an easy start for me!) The best part, at this time of my children's lives, is that they too trust her and are able to speak openly to her which I believe has a lot to do with the quality of care one can be given.

Please read this review before going to the watchung pediatrics. I had the unfotunate pleasure of seeing Doctor Gillard she is very unprofessional rude and no bedside manners. I expressed these complaints to the office manager who acted like this was not true until i brought to her attention other complains both online and verbal from many concerned parents. Please be advised do not go to this office. they are all about numbers and money and forget they are to be compassionate and provide great care to our children. I am disgusted that they are still seeing children and are allowed to practice. Please do not go to this office.

My son is a patient at Watchung Pediatrics and one day with had the misfortune of being seen by Dr. Gillard. I have never encountered a pediatrician with such a rude and cold demeanor. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder before she entered the room and as my son's checkup went on, it went from bad to worse. She seemed annoyed by any questions I asked and just seemed in a hurry to be done with the appointment. Very unprofessional and no bedside manner whatsoever. Is not a good fit within that practice because all of the other doctors and the nurse practitioner there are wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel like they care about your child.

My kids went to Dr.Gillard for years. I love her and all of the dr.'s @Watchung Pediatrics. Since I relocated to Ga, I'm unable to find another MD like her. Dr. Gillard truly loves her patients and really cares.

She is the only thing wrong with the Watchung Pediatric group and the only reason I think about leaving. She is rude, doesn't listen and seems like she has no interest in your childs well being. The few times I had to see her I was concerned that my child was not properly diagnosed.
