List of Marvin Lipsky's Reviews
Rating is a zero. Disaster. Confirm before you do any prep that your procedure is on. Complete waste of time and inexcusable inconvenience of prepping for nothing. Prepped for colonoscopy, scheduled and had it canceled when I arrived because a CoVid test they administered did not come back. I followed all instructions exactly. No phone calls to reschedule prior to arriving and call to not do prep! Prep is awful. Completely unacceptable.
After the antibiotics De Lipsky prescribed did not work for the SIBO he diagnosed me with, and when I informed the practice that my internist, through her detailed blood and stool work, found other bacteria and prescribed me more antibiotics, there was absolute silence from his staff who never got back to my entreaties via email and phone on what Dr Lipsky wanted me to do. When for the first one I met Dr Lipsky in person he was absolutely professional and communicative. However, I suspect it’s his office who despite repeated requests addressed to Dr Lipsky how to proceed further, there was zero communication from them. I finally went with the medical advice of my internal medicine doctor who is helping me.
Courteous, professional, very friendly and helpful staff. Explained procedures and answered all questions.
I have been seeing Dr. Lipsky on a regular basis for many years for my Crohn's disease and treatment. He is a very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate doctor who takes the time to listen to me and thoroughly answer all my questions and concerns making sure I am comfortable with his treatment plans. It is a comfort to know I can count on him to help me with my condition. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
Dr. Lipsky is professional, thorough, smart, knowledgeable and very caring. He was able to diagnose a very complex, rare condition that others had previously misread. He treated me over a period of time and the symptoms have disappeared. I am very grateful for his fastidious follow up. He is an exceptional doctor.

He is a money maker. He told me I had stomach ulcer, and after confirming I had blood in my stool, he ordered expensive testing after testing who costed thousands. He was not able to find anything, did not call me. When I called him, he told me he didn't think it was blood. I asked him "wasn't he established there was blood before he ordered the testing?" I don't trust this doctor and I will not recommend him to anyone.
Nice Doctor - HORRIBLE Staff!!!
he is willing to listen; not so easy to find now days!
The office staff and nurses were very helpful, professional and kind. But my experience with the doctor was the exact opposite. His poor listening skills were matched only by his arrogance. He ordered expensive testing, prescribed medication that made symptoms worse, and did not care about the needs of this patient. Whenever questioned about medication or the course of treatment, he responded with vague answers and acted like he was insulted by the questioning. It took him over a week to review test results and only responded after I pleaded with the nurse for answers on the results. this was quite possibly the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
