I don't remember the last time I was treated this badly by a medical professional team. I received an incomprehensible scrip for lab work. Wasted an entire morning trying to call the office. No one would return my call. The staff lies about office hours. A covering doctor once called me back on a Sat but I don't think he was even a doctor since he had no medical advice to give me. I call the office to tell my doctor but the staff person said she didn't care about that...

My opinion the office staff very nice and helpful .....but when it comes to defranco and baravecchio they suck its all about money not patients ...

I do not feel that the comments posted on 1/22/2014 accurately convey our office policies or Dr. Barravecchio's willingness to help his patients. His number one goal is always to treat the patient first and make sure that we can find a way to help out patients in need in any way possible. We offer payment plans to patients but unfortunately can not see patients on an ongoing basis when they have accumulated large past due balances. I am not only a long term patient of this practice but also its Practice Administrator. I also have numerous friends and family members who see Dr. Barravecchio on a regular basis. We have attempted to reach out to the Webmaster of this site to offer feedback on this patient's post but have not received any correspondence. We have also reached out to the patient to address any specific concerns that he may have had but have not received any return correspondence either. We encourage this patient or any of our patients to call with any such concerns directly to my line at (973) 653-9898 so that I can help resolve any such issues. I have been going to Allied Medical for 13 years now 14-27 years. Today I had a problem with my insurance and they gave me a problem. Made me wait 2 hours and after talking to aetna and trying to resolve problem, I hear Dr. Barravecchio go Why are serving Michael Keane his insurance wasnt working. He thought I couldn't hear him. He then came and acted like money wasnt a problem and was so fake. I was so mad but Medication I take I need monthly so I kept my cool. They are money hungry Doctors. I was so hurt to hear a doctor my whole family went to would say these things awful.I guess AL They care about is cash!!! not the oath to help

I am a new patient to Dr. Barravecchio's office, and it is a very nice office. It is very clean, and the staff is quite helpful and kind. A close friend recommended me to Dr. Barravecchio's office because she and the rest of her family go there. 5 of them go there, so I though I would give it a try. My experience at his office was pleasant from start to finish. The front desk staff were great when I first booked booked my appointment, again at check in and Dr. Barravecchio was very nice as well. He answered all of my questions and he even sent my prescription to the pharmacy for me before I even left his office so I wouldn't have to wait at CVS for it to be filled...what a pleasant surprise. I will be seeing Dr. Barravecchio from now on.

I have been a patient of Dr. Barravecchio's for many years. The one thing I can say for sure is I never waited for him for more than 10 or 15 minutes at any given time. He keeps his patient schedule in the patient's best interest. He is kind and caring and treats my whole family as if they were his own. His office staff go above and beyond to help you with any referrals, medicatiion or testing you may need!!! If you are looking for a caring doctor and a warm atmosphere, he is the one for you!

He makes you wait. He cares more about his new car than his patients. I honestly believe any positive reviews were written by himself or his staff. His bedside manner is the worst. One of his medical assistants doesn't even know how to take your blood pressure. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Came across a negative review about Dr. B by accident and had to respond. I have been seeing Dr. B for a few years now. He also sees a few people in my extended family so I can speak for them as well. He is personable and genuine and really cares about his patients. He gets to know you personally and never rushes you out of his office like my other doctors who make small talk and are only interested in getting me in and out as fast as possible. He is thorough and orders appropriate tests. My previous doctor had me in 4 times to run different tests before I got the correct diagnosis. Dr. B does not waste time making you come back over and over...he gets to the root of the problem quickly. He is very knowledgeable and I wish some of my other specialists were as caring as him.

Doesn't make you wait for an extended period of time like other docs,takes his time and never rushes you out, very friendly and thorough.

A very good doctor and an exceptional person as well. Dr. B also sees 3 of my family members. He really seems to care about his patients.
