I've been with Dr Emami for nearly 20 years & can't say enough about his professionalism & compassion. He is a fantastic physician/ surgeon who is truly dedicated to his field and his patients & has treated me (& my family) with the utmost kindness!
Wow what an amazing doctor and great staff! Very professional and compassionate and knowledgeable. I made the appointment for a family Member a while ago and completely forgot, thank god they called to remind me! When the doctor came in, he was able to explain things so we were able to understand and not just use medical terms. He answered all our questions and concerns and didn’t make us feel rushed or annoyed. Best of all is he helped with the pain and we’ve been pain free! Amazing, highly reccomend!
Dr.Emami is a fantastic surgeon, he operated on my mother who is older but desperately needed the surgery, we were all so worried but he put us at ease with his knowledge and kindness. The office got her in right away, imaging was done day of in office and surgery was scheduled within a week. His surgery coordinator Debbie is also amazing. I cannot recommend this practice enough and all they’ve done for my family.
Dr. Emami operated on my family member, it was life changing! we recommended him to everyone now, it is amazing to see how fast she bounced back.
A family member of mine was referred to Dr. Emami to treat her two herniated disks. And now I’m scheduled to see him for my scoliosis. I’m 32 years old and CANT WAIT to not feel pain anymore!
Thank you Dr. Emami and staff. Not only was the staff professional and knowledgeable but they also treated myself and my father as if we were part of their family. My dad's life is completely changed because of you and we are all so grateful.
Thank you Dr. Emami. I have been pain free for eleven years. Dr. Emami explain in detail the procedure that I was having for cervical spine surgery. You and your staff was very compassionate and made me feel very confident to have my surgery. I very highly recommend Dr. Emami!
First off, they don’t call for appointment reminders the day before. Then they send an NP to come in and ask you questions so the doctor can get to know your case. Then the doctor comes in and asks the same questions, because he’s never heard the answers. Then you wait 10 days while the insurance denies they even got a claim. Then the PA department doesn’t know that Medical Park is now Princeton Radiology so you have to fix your own prior authorization. Then they call you to give the prior authorization # when you had the testing done already with that very number the week before. Finally you tell them you’re in pain and you desperately need an appointment to review that testing. They give you an appointment for 12 that week, reiterating that it’s this week and you really need help. You get there, and the doctor in New York. Scheduling can’t get it right, PA department can’t get it right, the doctor can’t get it right. So you make an appointment elsewhere.Skip the sham and find a different doctor. If they’re doing it to someone in the business, who knows the business, how are they treating you and your loved ones? A doctor is only as good as his STAFF.
This Dr Arash Emami misled, lied and blindsided me with an elaborate procedure performing fusion, laminectomy, grafting among other things on my spine when I was suppose to have had a lesser, minor procedure of which he spoke to me in detail which was a micro discectomy. Day of the surgery dr Emami never met with me before or after immediate surgery. The following day was when I found what dr Emami did throw one of his associates. Needless to say, I was in shock. His surgery effected my gluteal muscles and I will never walk on my own again. His surgery triggered various varied surgeries from two back revision surgeries, to two ligament transpose surgeries since I lost tons of nerve endings to partial Mingus removal on my right knee to delay total knee replacement but to no avail. Since I struggled to walk with crutches I eventually also had total knee replacement. I take pain medication on a daily basis. This Dr Arash Emami did this never discussed surgery to collect almost $250,000.
After suffering with spondylothesis for 4 years & trying to manage my pain through lumbar epidurals, I was cautiously optimistic when I met Dr. Emami to discuss surgical options. The thought of spine surgery was pretty scary but I had heard great things about him & he thoroughly explained the surgical procedure to me. He assured me that my odds of being pain free in 1 year were pretty good & now it's almost a year after my surgery & I am indeed virtually pain free! I highly recommend Dr. Emami!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
