Brought my 90 years mother to Dr. Calligaro today for a toenail trimming. The doctor cut the skin on a big toe and just slapped a band aid on without cleaning the wound. We returned home in a bloody sock. Dr. Calligano provided a sloppy foot care. Never again.

Dr. Calligaro demonstrates active listening and compassion during every visit. He is not quick to administer medication or suggest surgery without less invasive strategies first. He has cured my plantar fascitis and repaired a torn ligament in my ankle. His office staff is courteous, professional, and pay attention to the details of your visit.

Feckless arrogant staff, unable to perform basic intake functions. Turn rude and hostile when confronted with their mistakes. Escalated mistakes into a bizarre confrontation CANNOT recommend! Doctor also turned rude and unprofessional when any other would have worked to resolve. There are MANY foot docs in the NY area - GOOD BYE.

Feckless and arrogant staff that chose to escalate a mistake into a bizarre confrontation . After thee visits WE ARE DONE. Doctor though personable behaved unprofessionally by joining in to collaborate that which he did not know or understand .

Feckless arrogant staff. Doctor is personable yet behaved in an unprofessional and bizarre manner, escalating a mistake into a confrontation. Would not trust after that TOO many doc in the area to put up with such abuse.

Dr. Calligaro performed surgery on my injured Achilles tendon nearly three years ago. I am worse off today than the day I sought treatment through his office. I would not recommend this doctor for any kind of foot or ankle treatment. I pursued a medical malpractice suit but it not deemed viable. However, I have been in pain every day since my surgery which is worse in summer months due to swelling. The surgery he performed was botched and aged me faster than normal.

Dr. Calligaro was recommended to me when I moved here three years ago. I have found him to be very pleasant, thorough and caring Doctor. I came to him wearing a heavy brace up to the knee for 20 years on one ankle and foot and a Richie (short) brace on the other ankle. He has performed surgery on both feet which was very helpful. Through his watchful eye and care I have greatly improved. I would strongly recommend Dr. Calligaro if you are having any problems and need medical attention for your feet.
