He was so approachable and responsive to my pain.
Great doctor I will recommend him to anyone
Absolutely love him and trust him. He has been managing my bulging disc pain with epidurals and gets the job done. I moved further away but still will happily drive over an hour to see him.
Dr. Bandola explains his plan of treatment so that I may easily understand what he is going to do.His office staff is very pleasant and helpful. Overall ,I would definitely recommend him.
On September 29, 2022, I visited Dr. Bandola for an ongoing and excruciating pain that I had been experiencing for some time. My neurologist had referred me to Dr. Bandola, so I had no initial interaction with his office. When I arrived, his staff were very nice and polite. However, when Dr. Bandola entered the room, he immediately went to his computer and informed me that my pain was not due to what the neurologist believed it was based on the MRI results. I was surprised and shocked by this, as we had only just met. This doctor interrupted me each time I tried to talk, he dismissed my questions and concerns mid-sentence, was condescending and showed no empathy at all which led me to conclude that he is the rudest and most arrogant person I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. My pain that day was at least a 9 on a scale of 1-10, but Dr. Bandola seemed to disregard and dismiss this. He stated that my pain could be due to poor posture from clicking on a mouse, but I informed him that I was not left-handed and that the pain was on my left side. He then suggested that it could be due to carrying my son, but I explained that my son was almost 3 years old and that I did not carry him often. He then added that it could be due to stress or "anticipatory pain," which was the first time I had heard of this concept. In just 15 minutes, Dr. Bandola had diagnosed me psychologically, emotionally, and medically, all based on our first and only meeting. I was extremely disappointed and upset by the way Dr. Bandola treated me. I felt like I was being judged based on my race, appearance, and/or gender as a black woman. I believe that his treatment of me was wrong and completely unethical. Thankfully, my neurologist and primary care doctor disagreed with the two-page summary that Dr. Bandola provided about our 15-minute meeting. Both doctors had met me several times and knew that the things he said about me were out of character and unfounded. No doctor should treat a patient the way that Dr. Bandola treated me, and a pain management doctor should not diagnose a patient psychologically and emotionally without any medical proof, especially based on just one meeting. I pray that I never encounter such an arrogant and unempathetic person again in my life. Thankfully, I was able to see another pain management doctor who completely disagreed with Dr. Bandola's diagnosis and dismissal of my pain and symptoms. This other doctor provided me with the treatment I needed, which has helped reduce my pain.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
