List of Dr. Garrick Cox's Reviews
Doc got me back playing again in a little more than 3 months after breaking my elbow. Couldn’t be more blessed to have Dr. Cox in my life for giving me another chance to get back out to playing. Thank you doc and I will always be grateful for you and the things you have done for me. 10/10 best doctor around.
Very Professional and Personal. I highly recommend this Doctor. What he did for my son to get him back on the field was amazing.
Dr. Cox and his staff operated on me about 6 months ago. A little background on my story- I am a Division 1 football player and currently entering my Freshman season at Lehigh University. During my senior season of Highschool, I suffered bilateral labral tears, as well as partial tears in both rotator cuffs, and cartilage damage, needless to say as a senior football player going to play at the next level, I was devastated, thinking in the back of my head I would miss freshman year of college football. Dr. Cox, ensuring that I would be ready to play, operated on me 4 weeks apart, fixing even things the MRI's could not see, fast forward 6 months and I am about to enter camp with two full healed, strong shoulders, and am back repping over 300lbs on the bench. There is not enough great things I could say about Dr. Cox and his team. Thanks Doc!!! Tyler Ochojski LB #34 Lehigh University
Dr. Cox operated on my left rotator cuff and my left knee. I had a partial rotator cuff tare in the shoulder and a lateral meniscus tear in the knee. Shortly after both I went back with the same pains after doing much physical therapy and he said we should operate again. So we did. At the time I trusted him. Now I'm 33 and recently went to another orthopedic for constant left knee pain. They found a golf ball sized cyst and the meniscus looked like "crabmeat" after another mri. Needless to say I've had it repaired again and I'm happy to say it's perfect. As for my shoulder, I have a huge bone spur where Dr. Cox had to shave bone during the surgery. For now it is tolerable. This is my story. I felt the need to share it because surgeries are something that you shouldn't have to do more then once unless absolutely necessary. My surgeries were in 2018-2019 as a reference. I hope you read this and make the right decision for you.
Dr Cox was recommended to me by the Chiropractor that I was going to for my shoulder. I knew from the first minute I met with him that he was the person that I would be going to for my full torn rotator cuff surgery. He was extremely professional yet very personable and understanding. My surgery went text book perfect. I'm just about three months post surgery and even though this particular surgery takes time to heal I'm very happy that he has insisted on an aggressive physical therapy as I have almost my full range of motion back. His office in Little Silver is where I go to see him, there is no real wait time and the staff is pleasant. I have recommend him to three people so far. He knows what he is doing. All through this process he told me to contact him whenever I needed to speak with him. He even gave me his cell phone number. Thankfully I didn't need to contact him but it was comforting to know he was immediately reachable. He's the best!
Dr. Cox is a wonderful surgeon, who repaired my shoulder, and had me feeling great within a week! Everything he told me beforehand, was 100% spot on! Straight forward, and detail oriented. Really good guy as well!Kristin Riley, the PA, is very knowledgeable and super friendly. A very nice office staff too. Carman is fantastic!
A few months ago I fractured my fibula and required surgery to repair my ankle. I researched Orthopedic Surgeons in the Red Bank area and luckily came across Dr Cox. He is straightforward, extremely communicative and easily accessible. There is never a time he cannot be reached even with the simplest of questions. His little silver staff is extremely friendly and excellent at their professions. If you are in need of an Orthopedic consultation do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with Dr Cox.
6 months ago my son tore his ACL. We were devastated by the news. After meeting Dr. Cox, we decided to have the surgery. From his kind and calming mannerism, to his expert knowledge, I can’t say enough good things about him. He is very personable and really caring about his patients. Now it’s 6 months later and my son is cleared for sports and perfect again. Him and his staff go above the rest to make this recovery the best it can be. Dr. cox is amazing!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
