List of Dr. Ramtin Kassir's Reviews
Dr. Kassir botched my nose back in 2019 & I'm still dealing with the repercussions of it to this day. My nose was left deformed, asymmetrical and less attractive than my birth nose. Despite knowing that he messed up & also my emotional distress over it, Dr. Kassir REFUSED to give me any sort of refund (I would have spared him the negative reviews if he at least had the decency to give my family and myself some sort of refund for his horrible work, but here we are). Stay FAR AWAY from this man. This is someone who's money hungry & doesn't care at all about you or the results you have to live with for the rest of your life.
I was thinking about doing a rhinoplasty with Dr Kassir. And through the pandemic I lost my job and was really struggling. I have been making payments toward having a rhinoplasty but decided against it since this last year has been a complete struggle. Dr Kassir could care less and his office manager took two months to get back to me and is refusing to give me back my money. I've also sent him many clients who have had surgery with him. I received no response from him, and his office manager is extremely rude.
BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT HAVE AN UNEXPECTED DEATH, EMERGENCY or ACCIDENT in your family prior to your surgery! You WILL NOT get your money back! This so-called "medical practice" needs to be reported to the BBB!Unethical and illegal practices. STOLE MY MONEY and I NEVER SIGNED one document nor office policy with them. They REFUSE TO RETURN MY MONEY TO ME and have NO human decency whatsoever.I scheduled a revision surgery with Dr. Kassir for this upcoming December 2021. I do not live in New York or New Jersey so I would have been flying there for the surgery. I made one transaction through ZELLE (which seemed to be a very odd and unprofessional platform to use) with his office for $525 in exchange for a 15-minute to 20-minute virtual consultation with Dr. Kassir. On this virtual call, Dr. Kassir only discussed my nose for 5 minutes and then talked about unrelated topics for the remainder of my consultation (complete waste of $525). I paid another $2,500 (per Natasha) in exchange for the reservation of the date of December 7, 2021 but only 4 days later I called Natasha to tell her the horrific news that my mother died unexpectedly and to please release the date and return my money so I could plan her funeral.THIS IS WHEN THE TABLES TURNED DRASTICALLY and please, remember, I have NEVER SIGNED ONE DOCUMENT (or "office policy" as they call it). Both Natasha and Jay keep telling me that "per their office policy" that unless I provide them with my mother's death certificate (which is extremely PRIVATE/SENSITIVE information that one should only give out to those who can legally request it), Dr. Kassir will NOT return my money! :-0They have NO LEGAL RIGHT in asking for my mother's private information. Yes, I understand many reading this may be thinking to themselves: "Why not just provide Dr. Kassir's office with your mother's death certificate to get your money back?"PLEASE READ THE BELOW CAREFULLY IN CASE YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THE SAME SITUATION ... it is ILLEGAL (and extremely UNETHICAL) FOR THEM TO ASK FOR THIS DOCUMENT. That is not even their biggest mistake ...What many people may not know is that under the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), Dr. Kassir's office actually has no right in pressuring me for (or making me falsely believe that they should have access to) my mother's death certificate. Yes, credit bureaus can request a copy of THE DECEASED ("DEBTOR'S'') death certificate WHEN THAT DECEASED PERSON STILL OWES THEM MONEY but my mother has no debts owed to Dr. Kassir's office. MY MOTHER IS NOT EVEN THEIR PATIENT. The only time a doctor's office can legally request a death certificate is if one of THEIR PATIENTS passed away and that patient still has an outstanding debt with them. THEREFORE, MY MOTHER AND HER DEATH CERTIFICATE SHOULD NOT EVEN BE PART OF THIS CONVERSATION. Dr. Kassir's office has already taken money from me that is not theirs ... WHAT IF their office takes my dead mother's private information (social security number, etc.) and falsely uses it in ways for their own financial gain?? As for me, I was Dr. Kassir's patient (for a millisecond) but I NEVER signed any documents (nor an "office policy"). I NEVER received any medical procedures from Dr. Kassir. Lastly, I owe NO DEBTS to them because, again, I only made/paid (in full) for the below two (2) transactions:1) I made one transaction with their office for $525 in exchange for a 15-minute to 20-minute VIRTUAL CONSULTATION with Dr. Kassir (and mind you, Dr. Kassir only spent about 5 minutes even discussing my nose).2) The second transaction took place when I paid another $2,500 (per Natasha) in exchange for THE RESERVATION OF THE DATE of December 7, 2021 but, only 4 days later, I called Natasha to tell her my mother unexpectedly passed away and to please release the date. I have given their office AMPLE time to re-book the date of December 7, 2021.So, again, Dr. Kassir's office has lost out on NOTHING. I signed NO office policy (nor any other documents for that matter), I received NO medical procedures. I have NO debts owed to their office. Therefore, it is a MOOT point and UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES for Dr. Kassir's office to be asking for my mother's personal documents.Just be GOOD HUMANS and give me money back so I can pay off my mother's funeral expenses!
When I scheduled a consultation they required a very expensive non refundable deposit (all other drs I encountered do refundable and much less) which could be used towards any procedure, even if you decide not to move forward with the one you were considering. I clarified to make sure I could use it towards a facial or something non-invasive and they confirmed saying of course. Once I didn't move forward with the procedure (because of a bunch of bad reviews I came across and the horrendous images) and tried to book a facial they barely returned my calls but finally I went in for one, which covered maybe half of the deposit. I was told I could come back again for another facial at a later date. When I tried to make the appt they never returned my calls, months went by, then when I texted I was told I could no longer use the ~$300 at all. This issue has not been resolved. Clearly this place is a scam like all the bad reviews indicate and they will steal your deposit.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Kassir. I had thought about having a rhinoplasty for over 30 years and finally decided to do it. I couldn't be more thrilled with the result. What made me choose him was a combination of his years of experience and the fact that his patients noses all looked very natural, like they belong on the person who had them. What still amazes me is that because of the minimally invasive technique he uses, you don't need any pain medication afterwards. It's truly remarkable. I had very little bruising and at the one week checkup where they remove the cast it already looks so good. He is exceptional at what he does and I am so glad I chose him for this procedure.
Just wanted to share my experience with Dr Kassir. I had my consultation which was a fee of $525 usd which if I decided to go with him that fee would go towards cost of surgery. I consulted with two other very much decorated surgeons in Beverly Hills & their consultation fees were only $200 & $250. Why Dr Kassir is requesting nearly double than top rated surgeons in Beverly Hills is beyond my understanding. Also the consultation fee was to only be paid by using Apple Pay. If felt more like a drug deal than paying for a possible future surgery. My other consultations I had email invoices from their offices. Much more professional. It felt shady with the high consultation fee & Apple Pay only at Dr Kassirs office. Then I started reading these Yelp reviews & can tell others have experienced similar vibe. The best part is he quoted me a 25k surgery cost for closed Rhinoplasty. And the top of the top in Beverly Hills NO BAD YELP REVIEWS quoted me at 15k for surgery. So Dr Kassir I think I can see through you're greed. That is sad!!! I should have read these reviews before doing the consultation. But better late than never. Anyone considering this Doctor. Always do 2-3 consultations with different doctors before deciding on which doctor is best for you. Dr Kassir you aren't even comparable with your greed. He even started bad mouthing other doctors saying nobody can perform like he does. LIES. He is a smooth talker for sure. Best of luck!
If you are inquiring about getting any sort of cosmetic enhancements, I suggest you STRONGLY consider going somewhere else. I am not one to complain, in fact, this is my first ever bad review. But my experience here has been so beyond poor that I have to say something. Basically every step of the process there has been something off. The staff is beyond uninformative. After my procedure I got my brace off a week later by Dr Seyed, it’s like I was no longer a client. During my consultation, I was told that follow up appointments were a part of their policy when someone (like myself) were to get rhinoplasty for up to a year - to make sure everything is healing as it should and there are no complications. I have not had a single follow up appointment (it’s been a year and 4 months since I’ve had my procedure). Instead, I got an email 7 months after asking how I was. When I replied with my honesty, I never received any word back. It was much more than that, my biggest issue now though is my payment status. Being told I would be interest free for a certain amount of time and set up on my account another way. After calling about this issue for 3 months hoping something would get resolved, I finally got a response through email. One person telling me one thing, another person telling me something different. Both things are different than what I was told by someone else prior to even setting up to have the procedure. I sent out an email to the first person I ever spoke with about this situation and never even received a response. My whole point is that an experience I was extremely excited about turned into something I wish I didn’t even do because all of this stress and money wasn’t worth a mediocre nose job. Once you’re in the system and you’re a paying client, you’re completely insignificant. I hate to even talk bad about businesses, but after all of the disappointment I’ve experienced here I felt compelled to say something. Never going back.
This is my nose one year post surgery. No definition, crooked, and unrecognizable. I cannot begin to explain what a horrible experience I had with Dr. Kassir. He was rude, short and didn’t give me the time of day throughout any of our interactions. I waited to see him for over an hour on each occasion, for him to barely spare me 5 minutes. All he kept repeating to me was, “you want a doll nose, right?” Which I didn’t, but which he proceeded to attempt anyway, albeit poorly. Two days after my surgery, he chastised me in his office for asking to see him (rather than his nurse). When I explained a concern I was having, he quickly grew irritated and dismissed my concern. He was out of the room in under 2 minutes. The result has been so poor and he completely stopped communicating with me 6 months Post-op. Please find another doctor.
Dr. Kassir is fabulous! I couldn't be more happy with the outcome of my rhinoplasty. This is something I have been wanting since I was 10 years old and he went above my expectations. His staff was wonderful. Natasha, Beana, Jean, and nurse Jamie all were AMAZING! They also provided me with Inside Beauty skin care which made my face feel wonderful. I highly recommend this product. I traveled from Kentucky for this procedure and would hands down do it again. I can not recommend Dr. Kassir enough!
