Mean staff and very uncaring Dr. They make me more uncomfortable and give more anxiety.
He won't even come.in and admit my sucidal granddaughter this evening. It will be your head
When my parents were moving and switching states, he “released” my mom from his care saying that she needed no further treatment when he knew fully well that he should be referring her to another therapist in her new state. We are now back at square one with mom’s mental status, with the same schizophrenic and delusional fits she had prior to her first hospitalization. He’s an irresponsible provider looking to make a quick buck however he can.
Whenever I need refills I have to call the office as many as 3 separate times to get them refilled. Often they are not refilled until after I am out of some of them for a few days, Going cold turkey with my meds is highly unsafe.
I'm not sure where to start but how about starting with the very fact that she's been my trusted psychiatrists for nearly 5 years now. Throughout the years I found out that my daughter too was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 depression. I guess it's in the genes. Lol Anyway, I met Dr. Siddiqui through an Intensive Outpatient program and I was being treated both for psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar and for addiction services. When she first met me, I was a wreck and disaster and obviously needed help. I wasn't on the right meds so she started me with a few meds to help out with "my issues". Throughout time she found the right concoction, that worked for me. It wasn't an instant fix and it took time to figure out but let me tell you I never felt better when I we found the right meds to use that would take care of all my issues. I was almost homeless and had no direction in life because of my mental health & addiction issues but she gave me hope and we found the right balance that made me feel better that gave me a sense of purpose and direction. Don't get fooloed! She may not come out as a very talkative person but believe you me, she cares a whole lot about your well being and wants to see you succeed. Today I have an excellent career with great salary, benefits and a happy and healthy home environment. Nothing's perfect but to me life is as good as it gets right now with many thanks to her. I only trusted one doctor for my daughter to seek and that was my doctor, Dr. Nafeesa Siddiqui. I wouldn't trust anyone else! My daughter loves her! Every visit she'll tell me something like, "don't screw up your job! You have a good thing going on right now so don't mess up!!! I always take her comments into consideration because she is old school and is very traditional and cared sincerely about her patients and yeah it takes time with her but you will see for yourself how much she cares! Only one way to find out...
I would not recommend him at all. He does not call back promptly,if he does. You sit in the waiting room at least 30-45 min and that's if you're lucky. When I was in the hospital he was flighty about coming in at a regular times for visits and didn't so much as spend 2-3 min with me. Some days he would show up in the morning, afternoons or evenings. Then follow ups, I was stuck in the waiting room 30-45 min and that's on a good day. Also if I called the office it usually would go to an answering machine, leaving me until he called back that day. He has a receptionist but all I've seen her do is take payments. I was sitting in the waiting room, the phone was ringing but she did not answer it...I don't know if he's instructed her not to or what that situation is about . I don't understand how he runs his office, like at other doctors offices the receptionist would answer phones and take messages and the doctor or other personal would call back. Absolutely unreliable. I'm changing doctors.
One star because I can't give a ZERO. So disorganized and unethical.
The worst for patients, makes you wait in office for hours and no consideration. He walks in like nothing, poor professionalism.
The waiting room is tiny, hot, and crowded enough for people to be waiting outside the office. Obviously, no one likes this. They should invest in a larger office if possible or refurbish this office to be more accommodating.1 star for waiting for more than an hour and a half. Ridiculous.
