List of Kevin J. Mickey's Reviews
I was referred here by my peds office after my 2 year old had a bad eye infection that 2 separate antibiotics were not helping. I called and was told that she could not be seen until their next opening in July. I explained that this was urgent as both of her eyes were currently swollen for over a week. This didn’t seem to matter. There was no compassion no alternative no let me ask the doctor just a plain old no. I guess this is a good office if you can anticipate an emergency 3-4 months in advance.
Absolutely no bedside manner when it comes to children. My son is skiddish about his eyes and rather than explain to my son "now we'll do this, then this" he immediately tried to put fluorescein without patiently explaining what's to come first. My son was crying and uncomfortable and dr tried to forcefully hold my son's hands down through the cries. Following the procedure, my son FAINTED by the elevators and I screamed like a lunatic for help. (He fell face down and we spent the rest of the day in PM Pediatrics and the dentist. He was a bloody mess. It was very scary!!) When some staff came out, someone said "oh yes, this reaction happens" and when I asked the dr why he didn't warn me, he didn't know what to say. What's worse, when I was carrying my son back in to lay down, Dr. Mickey said "He just saw Dr. Yang" and I said "Are you kidding? We were just in your chair!!!" He didn't even remember my son from 4 minutes prior. I will never forget this experience and the trauma.

My son just fainted and blood is all over the place and it was just a scene with zero compassion. Would never recommend this office to anyone.

Let’s put it this way, I’m driving from the Midwest to see Dr Mickey. We started seeing him when my oldest daughter was four, and he is simply the best. Easily worth the drive to know my kids are getting world class care.
Atencion excelente Dios bendiga al doctor,a su familia y todo su equipment de trabajo.
Dr. Yang is very caring, was ready to see us on a weekend for a emergency and handled by 13 month old daughter with utmost care. Thank you!
After going around a lot trying to find a good doctor for my kids, traveling and seeing doctors around the world, i found Dr. Mickey and he is the best. We love Dr. Mickey and we recommend him to everyone.
I took my 16 month old son to see Dr. Mickey , cannot recommend this office enough !! The whole team is great , and made what could have been a stressful time very easy ! My son and I were super comfortable and at ease. Dr. Mickey is super friendly and more importantly competent , spends the time discussing any questions you have and really did well with son ! Would highly recommend this office .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
