I would definitely add that 5th half-star. He is extremely patient, thoroughly explains the procedure and risks, explains what he might encounter that would cause him to abort the surgery. This was a compression fracture of the L1 vertebra. A one hour same-day local anesthetic surgery where a balloon is inserted in the fracture and filled with a very fast setting cement. By the time my wife got off the operating table the cement was firmly set. She was up and walking an hour later and discharged after another hour. Surgery was on Monday and pain was greatly relieved. Tuesday was less pain. Wednesday , a further reduction. We cannot say enough about his handling and resolving of my wife's extreme problem. Ron Yates, Saddle River NJ.

Dr. Ruoff has change his appointment scheduled so you're never waiting more than 15 minutes for your appointment. He's a great doctor with a personality that has no problem explaining different procedures, and which one he feels the best way to go and will tell you if you're not sure go for a second opinion. My family have been going to him for years, and never considered going to another orthopedic doctor for my back.

Piss poor beside manner. Lied on several occasions and admitted doing so when confronted with the truth. Untrustworthy. He left a huge scar on such a small incision especially compared to two prior spinal surgeries. I would not recommend Dr Rouff.

The wait time to see the doctor was ridiculous for both appointments. The staff's understanding of urgency was inadequate. Find a doctor who actually cares about patients and makes sure the staff follows through to help patients.

This M.D is in no rush to hurry you through your appt. He explains everything to you and gives multiple approaches. I now walk because of him. He is not a cutter,he trys other methods before surgery is even addressed. I have recommended him to several people,and they all were happy with his approach and their outcome

Able to leap tall buildings with a single bound. He is the man to see if you have a back issue. The Best. He can do God like things to help your back. This Dr. saved my life. I can't thank him enough. We have a shrine at our house and worship him. Thanks for a lifetime Doc.
