The worst doctor on the planet. Stuffs you full of as much medication as he can manage to, after speaking with you for two minutes. If you have a question, the response is usually a contemptuous, "So you're the doctor now?" Kicks you when you're down, drops you if you question him more times than his monumental vanity can tolerate. Beware of this man - he couldn't care less about anyone other than himself. And his wallet.

Unkind, grandiose, no compassion, no expertise His "practice" consists of giving you more and more medication, no matter how little it is helping you or even if, or ESPECIALLY if it is actually making you sicker. That's all he knows - that's all he does. He is unkind, always late, grandiose, contemptuous of his patients, and kicks you when you down. Engage him at your peril.

0 stars. 10 years later and 15-20 medications including anti-anxiety medications, mood stabilizers and anti-psychotic medications I fell 1000% on my own without psychiatric medications. I have a B.A. in Psychology from The College of New Jersey and some Master’s of Social Work studies completed. I have come to learn that mental illness is what you make of it.

Dr El Rafei is a compassionate and caring psychiatrist. As a patient who takes Clozaril I am confident he is on top of the meds. While a good talker he is not a psycho therapist and I am confident he knows where to draw theliinte.
