I have been bring my children here for over 20 years. I will never go any place else

Our experience with Dr. Alexander has not worked out and I am switching pediatricians. She is very impatient with me and talks to me like I'm an idiot. My baby is not even two so she can't communicate and it's important for me to explain what I have seen, however she does not want to listen. She is very dismissive and does not seem to have the patient's best interest at heart. She is very quick to blame it on a virus from daycare, and was waving goodbye to us saying, yup another virus, but their practice was doing a rapid strep and it came out positive. Another time, she misdiagnosed eczema for a staff infection and treated it with augmentin (antibiotic) which took a toll on my daughter's tummy and appetite; when the antibiotic didn't work, she prescribed foot creme (fungal). When I showed the relentless rash to Dr. Grunewald, he suspected eczema and referred me to a pediatric dermatologist who confirmed it was eczema, gave a steroid creme and it was gone in a few days. I should have made a change awhile ago but I love Dr. Grunewald.

I had a negative experience with Dr. Alexander. She walked in the room never smiled, or made any cheerful gestures to make my toddler comfortable. She gave me an example of how to clear my toddler's mucus and she hit her extremely hard in the back several times. She was rough when my child was laying down and she pressed on her belly. My toddler said to me, "That Doctor was rough. We need to find another Doctor. Let's go back to Dr. Lisa." I am terribly upset that my baby was traumatized by her.

Dr. Alexander is a wonderful doctor and we trust her with all four of our children! Our two year old son hurt his foot. When the x ray came clear and he still couldn't walk, she told us something wasn't right and sent him to a specialist. Thank goodness that she is aggressive in her treatment! It turned out he had a fractured foot. She is wonderful and takes the time to listen to all of your concerns. I have seen her for almost six years and definitely recommend her!

She is hasty and does not listen or think things through. She had my 4 month old infant admitted in hospital and wanted to increase strength of his antibiotics,without giving him enough time to respond to the first dose of medication, and in spite of my repeated pleas to wait for a few more hours. Fortunately we had a nice resident doctor at the hospital and we managed to get in touch with our regular pediatrician just in time and did not have to hold off. My infant started improving that evening and spent one day at the hospital and returned home. Caution is one thing. Hasty over-reaction due to lack of knowledge, especially when it comes to infants is very wrong. I took the time to write out this survey, because I strongly feel no other mother should need to protect her children from their pediatrician!

this is the worst doctor ever. My 1yr old son had to see her because she is part of a medical group but I would have never chosen her. I ended up in the hospital because she considers that a fever of 103 is normal because the body's immune system is fighting the virus, but the outcome was a febrile seizure for my one-year old son. I do not recommend her at all and certainly will never go back. I am a first-time mom and would have taken him to the hospital if she would have told me, but instead she told me to stop taking his temperature and to go to bed. I wish I could go back in time and ignore her advice.
