List of Anthony Carlino's Reviews
It took me 4 phone calls to Dr. Carlino's office to get them to renew my prescription for Metformin. They fought me every inch of the way. This medication renewal was refused by a Dr. Mathews in this office. I had to call 4 times to get them to finally ok a renewal. I asked the office to have Dr. Mathews call me. He never returned my call. Finally I see that the office has ok'd a renewal of my Rx. This doctor's office has some major communications problems. I intend to let them know how unhappy I am with their service. I may have to find another doctor.
Don’t bother. Twice we went to see Dr. Carlino and twice he wasn’t there. We saw an alternate doctor first and the second time we didn’t even see a doctor. The doctor called and said the weather was bad every half hour. Blood work and scans were never obtained by the office and even though one scan was very seriously abnormal we were not informed. This office was a waste of time . First visit wait time was 2 hours with only one other patient in the offfice. Nix this practice. Horrible.
Dr. Carlino seems very knowledgeable. But his follow-up is nearly non-existent. And his office staff are worse. Had to call repeatedly for test results that should have been sent to me, as well as for numerous referrals never sent.
Waited weeks for a follow-up appointment. Then waited over an hour in the office and had to leave to return to work. No notice that they were running behind and no apology. What a disgrace.
Always available 24/7/365!
Dr Carlino has been the nicest, warmest most caring Doctor. He is always ready to help with his team, and has always understood precisely what's going on, and addressed what needs to be done. Thank you.
I didn't meet with Dr. Carlino. It was a resident doctor that took my info and then another dr. Saw me & seemed to have no clue about me or my specific needs to be healthy. Only good in an emergency or for a referral and even the referral was to the wrong dr. Extremely dissatisfied. :(
Except for several cancellations and rescheduled appoints, plus a delay in follow up with me after the fact, the overall experience was moderately good. If 5 stars were provided, I would have ranked the Internal Medicine group only a 3 out of 5 versus a 3 out of 4.
although student doctors are very nice, don't go unless you have nothing else to do with your days....wait times are totally unacceptable. My first visit was my last. My appt. was for 10:30am, did not get out of there until 1:00pm- and this was just for a routine first visit. Total time spent with students and dr-maximum 25 minutes-the rest was waiting. Not a relationship I wish to continue.
I left sicker than before. we talked about everything except me. I have a very high white count and I was told to return work, not worry about it. I saw an infectious doctor told me that I wasn't crazy. what an experience

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
