I never had an issue with my care, but I have since moved to Michigan. I called because the Ophthalmology office I will begin utilizing asked me to obtain and bring a copy of my old records, only to find out that they charge $10 to fax you your records, plus $1 per page. The office staff let me know that "Doctor to Doctor" they can send for free, but if a patient wants their own records they are charged. This is very upsetting and the office and Doctor allowing this should be ashamed of themselves. I'll guess I'll be arriving to my new physician without my old records, hopefully they'll be able to obtain them easily. HORRIBLE.

By far the worst experience ever, I booked an appointment months in advance, they confirmed the acceptance of my insurance, once arrived to the place they told me they didn't accept my insurance, not only they were rude about it but try to blame me for their incompetence.
Long wait time (hour plus) only to have my eyes dilated and not examined. Finally got my new RX and they wrote the incorrect one on there, causing me to purchase glasses that hurt my eyes. Very frustrating as I had positive experiences in the past.
I have a piece of metal in my eye they remove it in minutes the stuff was awesome 5 starts
If I could give him zero rating I would love to! I was in pain and I had to wait at least 1 he to see him and when he came in a rush looking to the computer and barely see me , send me home to use 2 eye drops and never told me what was wrong with my eye. So after that I found excellent doctors what told me my cornea was breaking up and the transplant I did in the past was gone! I could report him for negligence but what I have to say is God protect the patients he has.
Waited in a small waiting room for 45 minutes during the pandemic. The doctor talked to me looking at the computer, rushed through telling me my results, didn't explain much, gloom and doom, recommended laser surgery. Went to another doctor who did a full battery of tests, a different experience and different results.
I can't tell you if Dr. Tutela is a good doctor or not because after arriving on time for my 11:30 appointment and waiting in my car to be called in, I left at noon. They finally called me at 12:30 to come in, by which time I was already home. The receptionist told me that "during Covid" people have to wait longer, and, "it's just the way it is." I understand that doctors have emergencies, but then they should have the courtesy to call patients and ask them if they want to reschedule. Not leave them waiting indefinitely. I kept my appointment with him, but he didn't keep his appointment with me. All in all, I felt disrespected and un-cared for.
Very helpful. Explains everything in detail.
Wonderful doctor. Had no problem explaining medical terms to me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
