I’ve been going to Dr.Holtz for 20 years. There is no other physician like him. Period. He takes over an hour to really listen to you and diagnose. He’s calm, caring, professional and wonderful. He always calls back. He always follows up. Anyone who can call him their doctor is incredibly fortunate. Five stars do not do him justice. Dr. HOLTZ is the BEST!

And so there are many intelligent physicians but ever once in a while, a very exceptional doctor is made known....... Howard Holtz, MD is one such person! A patient seeks a knowlwged doctor who is compassionate, positive, personal, thorough, communicative and even has a sense of humor. His practice is structured so that you receive his full appontment attention and in any 24 hour period or less you have personl contact with Dr. Holtz! When you have confidence in who is handling your well being, then your chances of recovery are ten fold!

Dr. Holtz is an extraordinary doctor. He takes his time for all patients and schedules accordingly. When you are there you feel as if you are his only patient. He charges a yearly fee for medicare patients and it is well worth it. If you are lucky enough to get into his practice you are indeed lucky.

Dr. Holtz is the best doctor ever! He is caring, smart, and everything a doctor should be. His office staff is also excellent. The health care profession would be improved if every doctor were like Dr. Holtz. Shelley Slafkes.

I needed to change Doctors, Dr. Gewirtz recommended Dr. Holtz. I called for an appointment and was told there would be a $1,050/yr retainer because I am 68. I am shocked. I've used doctors in this area all my life and no one required an annual retainer. This is age discrimination!! I was more than willing to cover any unmet costs by Medicare and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, but this was not acceptable! This is bad Doctoring and bad medicine and I am surprised St. Barnabas supports such actions by any of its medical staff.

I have never had so much faith in a doctor as I do in Dr. Holtz. He is patient, thorough, smart and caring. He doesn't look at me as a patient with a few isolated issues--he wants the whole picture of me as a person. He is professional, but don't be fooled--he also had a very good sense of humor. He asks great questions and gives excellent advice. There is never much of a wait in the office and his staff is friendly and helpful.
