List of Jon D. Green's Reviews
Service is pretty awful! I was referred to Jon Green by Dr. Pandya (who is amazing by the way). I assumed I would have a similar experience with Green but I was mistaken. His idea of a diagnostic appointment was a 15 minute FaceTime call (which was supposed to be half-an-hour) which he pretty much rushed along. I didn't even have the chance to mention some of the symptoms of the problem I was having or discuss the potential of my diet contributing to the issue. The call was just for him to prescribe some medication. My pharmacy then tells me that the medication he prescribed is not covered and they recommend two generics. I give the names of the generics to the office and they don't get back to me for 2 whole weeks. Keep in mind, I have to call them around 3-4 times before I can get them on the phone. The place seems understaffed, but that seems to be the perpetual excuse for subpar service. Finally, I hear that Green has prescribed another medication, but as it turns out, it's neither of the generics I had told the office! Now, the out-of-pocket expense for the medication would be $500! I can't tell if he's negligent or just plain stubborn but I won't be going back to him.
Wow is all I have to say. The doctor himself is amazing and straight to the point…this staff is horrible. Firstly I called for over three weeks and was sent to voicemail each and every time. Secondly, when I called someone answered and she was RUDE!! She didn’t hear what I was saying and instead of trying to understand if I needed to book an appointment or not she cut me off multiple times and literally YELLED at me to give her my name and number for the doctor to call me back. Wow.
Dr. Green is a superb doctor in my opinion and, from my experience, he has been accurate and helpful. I have been his patient for 20+ years and he has always been professional and knowledgable. I have trusted his diagnoses and recommendations. I have no problem recommending him.
Very disappointed that Dr Green who has been my doctor over 10 years would not see me- nobody covers for him- he is the only gastro in the group. Christina took upon herself to diagnose what I have and what the doctor would advise. I asked to relay to him that I had a serious GI issue - I’m sure she didn’t even me ntion to him my name - she told me to go back to my primary because Dr Green couldn’t see me for 5 weeks!!! Shame!!! My friends and I are definitely looking for a new GI.
Dr.Green brushed me off as fast as he could (like 10 minutes) and didn't answer all my questions. The staff was nice but getting them on the phone it took time. But, I'm never going back there do to the fact that the doctor brushed me off and try to get the insurance money only! If I would be you I would go somewhere else don't waist your time like I did!!
Office is horrible. Waiting six weeks for an appointment. Did not receive a call confirming so I called on day of appointment to confirm. First told I cancelled the appointment , then told it was cancelled because I did not call back and confirm. Of course, I would confirm after waiting six weeks. Told to wait 2 months for next appointment. No help. Horrible. Not sure about doctor but i strongly suggest using someone else. Do not waste your time. First negative review i ever wrote about or a business.
Hard to tell. Telehealth visit was generally inconclusive, and provided no real diagnosis. I was referred by my GP for constipation issues, and guidance was given for constipation, which is fine, but there was no diagnosis as to the actual cause. Referral was made, but only after a visit charge.
I would give zero stars if I could. Totally unprofessional from the doctor to the office staff. Complete waste of time. I waited one week for a scheduled phone conference appointment which I question the purpose of to begin with, (probably to rack up insurance bills) being as I am told by the new doctor I called that based on my issue would require physical examination and sooner rather than later. I called doctor Greens office prior to my scheduled time as requested and I am told by the staff that I would specifically receive a text shortly from the doctor. As I’m on the phone with the staff the doctor calls me and leaves a voicemail saying that I missed my appointment. I immediately called back and I am told by the staff no worries I am in queue and will again specifically receive a text message shortly. Three hours go by and I receive no text message or calls so I called the office and I’m told that I missed my appointment and Dr. Green called multiple times which Never Happened. (I would be happy to share my phone log) It’s one thing to be busy but it’s another to be disorganized and dishonest. You would think that at this point the doctor would get on the phone who happens to be standing next to the secretary as she talks to him and maybe try to resolve the issue but nope all the secretary kept saying was you missed your appointment while offering no solution and continued with the lie. If the doctor or his staff are going to lie about what seems to be an office error and miss information given by the office staff, then I question whether they would be fully honest or competent in dealing with more serious issues.
Dr. Green did not address any of my concerns, nor was I given the time to express those concerns. He told me a diagnosis and ways to live with my condition, which are things I already knew. He also told me that my conditioned re-occurred because I stopped taking a medication, which is not the case at all. If I could have explained my history more thoroughly, instead of being continually cut off and sternly questioned, maybe my needs could have been addressed. I will not be scheduling a follow-up appointment and I will be finding another doctor.
Horrible experience

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
