I had emergency surgery to debulk cancerous tumors in my neck resulting in 14 screws, bolts and a connector "the hardware" inserted in my neck, from C3 to T2 in July 2022. The tumors were discovered on a Wednesday and the operation was the following Tuesday. Every day Dr Koziol visited asking if I had any questions and just to check up on me. To think you may have degenerative disks and end up with cancerous tumors threatening to paralyze you is something of a logical and emotional distance. Every question was answered carefully. My surgery was very successful and every surgeon I consulted with afterwards said the surgery was exemplary. Plus his staff is lovely and helpful. No call trees, you speak to a person and the NP, Courtney is knowledgeable and helpful. I was extremely lucky to find such a talented and caring surgeon. One of the doctors said he's doctor "magic hands". He was in my case. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I played ice hockey. Had cervical fusion surgery in 1997, then in 2015 my L4,L5,S1 were fused. In 2017 and just 3 weeks ago had herniated disc repairs done. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of all my surgeries. The office help and Dr. Koziol are the best. I highly recommend.

Dr. Koziol saved me from being paralyzed. Cancer had deteriorated the T12 bone in my spine. It had collapsed into my spinal cord. He removed the cancer ridden bone filled it with a cement like structure, Put in a rod and six screws in my back. I was up walking in two - three days, no rehab and I have been moving ever since. His bedside manor is kind, caring and soft spoken. He listens and explains. Fantastic human being who’s committed to saving lives. Thank you Dr.!

I had brain surgery about 6 years ago with Dr. Koriol. Dr. Koziol saved my life I end up in the ER with a brain tumor and i was so luck that he was my surgeon.. .. Thank You Dr. Koziol for taking care of me all this years. I will always say you are the BEST..

Dr. Koziol is amazing. He listens to and cares for his patients with exceptional clarity and empathy. He takes time to truly listen to concerns & provides individualized treatment options. He recognizes the physical and emotional pain in his patients and does his best to address his patients' physical and psychological issues, fully realizing the connection between the two. In spite of his extreme intellect, he relates to his patients and explains their options with simplicity and dignity.
