Another bad experience with a doctor at 1500 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange NJ. Waste of time. I am in so much pain. Nobody cares to help me.

Snippy when I did not answer her questions exactly. Another dr. In same practice said I had RA, she said I have OA, who which is it? Said my sleep apnea causing arthritis.

I had seen an orthopedic dr. at same practice a couple of years ago. He referred me to a Rhuematologist. I am a busy mom, so just getting around to it now as can't take pain anymore. So all Dr. Zaputowycz did was ask me questions she "READ" off her computer screen. One of the questions was "Any numbness and tingling in hands?" I said "tingling, yes, but no numbness". She says nastily "I said numbness AND tingling" - I wanted to walk out right there. Basically said my problem was osteoarthritis and nothing can help me because I am allergic to nsaids and they don't give steroids. Can you doctors at this practice get your stories straight? Offered nothing to help me with pain. This is a shameful practice.

Waste of time. Not caring. Reads questions from computer?How many patients have you done this with you can't memorize it by now? My sleep apnea causing my arthritis?

I just saw the Dr. Zaputowycz today. The nurse that checked me in was excellent, I was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time. I found the doctor knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. She listened to my concerns and took the time to answer my questions. I am very satisfied.

Dr. Larysa is very smart, kind and patiently answers all my questions. She has been treating my rheumatoid arthritis with excellent treatment. I am grateful to her.

I made an appointment with this doctor due to abnormal blood results. I was very nervous going to my appointment, not knowing what may be wrong. The doctor barely lifted her head to look at me and at times did not respond when I spoke. She seemed frustrated that I was referred from my primary doctor to see a RA doctor due to the abnormal results of lab work. Basically asked me many questions on symptoms but never clarified what she was looking for. I left with bloodwork in hand to repeat the abnormal results and many other labs which she did not explained to me. In the days following I received my results with 4 being abnormal. Her way of communicating this is through a patient portal and only writing what was not wrong with me and see you in October. More importantly, there was no mention of what may be wrong. When I called upset, she could not find the time to come to the phone. She had someone in the office try to repeat her explanation in broken English. Needless to say, I would NEVER recommend this uncompassionate doctor to anyone.

Seems somewhat knowledgeable but the follow up is horrendous... You can only work through her assistance who call with results and basically try and play telephone for what she said. Since I can see things on the portal myself I always have to ask..."what about this....why is this out of range...etc" and they never know and have to recheck or the Dr failed to see it.
