I can't thank Dr. Richard Boiardo enough for the amazing hip replacement surgery he performed on me November 10, 2021. I am 6 years post heart transplant and two other doctors shied away from this procedure. Dr. Boiardo nurtured me along first with physical therapy, then an injection but finally after my arthritis escalated, we talked surgery. There was no pressure, the decision was mine and it had to be done.His anterior approach to the hip replacement was phenomenal. I was discharged from the hospital within 23 hours and started in-home physical therapy the next day. My recovery has been strong and rapid.My wife of Greek nationality summed it up best when she said to Dr. Boiardo, "Yas Ta Herias", (God bless the hands that did this), for Dr. Boiardo has those blessed hands.

He is an excellent Dr he operated on my mom who is 88 years old. She had a fractured hip and we were concerned with her age but she is doing real well thanks to the surgery and the continued treatment and guidance from Dr Boiardo

I have had 3 shoulder operations in 30 years of HS & Collegiate wrestling. My shoulder actually ended two seasons for me. Both years I was having above Average seasons.I graduated college and became a teacher and a coach. I have seen many doctors over the past 20 years. They all tell me the same thing. You can’t coach you can’t work out, and you need to strengthen your core.My core is strong already. I went to see Dr. B within 5 minutes he had me diagnosed and told me I needed a shoulder replacement. I put it off for a few months, until my quality of life was unbearable, DR. B does the replacement. After3 week of the replacement I’m actually sleeping and have no pain. I haven’t had this in 30 years. The only negative thing I could say is were was DrB 30 years ago. I feel like he has performed a miracle on me. That’s how bad it was. Dr.B is the goat of shoulder surgeons🙏🙏Ty you for everything. I would give 6 stars but there are only 5!!!!!!! I tore my rotator cuff in 2007 at work and the doctor I saw said he wouldn't do surgery and I was in so much pain.This is when I met Dr.Boiardo and he did my surgery in 2008.I went to therapy and went back to my job as a mail handler at the post office.Until I reinjured my shoulder in 2015 but you know worker comp isn't easy and they approved surgery so that he could clean up the scar tissue.I was still in pain and was put on permanent restrictions at work.But Dr.Boiardo put in for a total shoulder replacement but worker comp was not having it.My nurse and the doctor staff finally got it approve after being in so much pain.I got my total shoulder replacement in 2020 and now I'm pain free.With therapy I'm able to now go back to work on full duty.Thank so much to my wonderful doctor who did a excellent job.His staff is friendly and courteous especially Joe who has been there since the beginning.I give my favorite Doctor a 10 🌟.Now I have my life back.I recommend Dr.Boiardo to everyone who wants to see a different in their life to have a better outcome.

Dr Biardo performed my left hip replacement. He is an excellent doctor. My surgery went very well. I am very happy my results.

Dr. Richard Boiardo is an outstanding, highly respected orthopaedic surgeon located at 405 Northfield Avenue, Suite 107 in West Orange, NJ. Dr. Boiardo replaced both of my hips, one recently, and I had a remarkable recovery. He not only has the knowledge and expertise, but he cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Boiardo to anyone who is in need of orthopaedic surgery.

I was not happy with the care I received. My injury was related to a on the job accident. In the six weeks that I dealt with this office the only thing that I got accomplished was a MRI. The staff never followed up as promised and I have yet to receive a phone call. I would not recommend this practice.

I have enjoyed my services at Cross county ortho. Yaritza has been by far the best part of my office experience aside of the doctor himself.She's very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient!!!I recommend Cross County Ortho to everyone!

20 years after having total hip replacements, my right hip started to display problematic symptoms. Various lab tests revealed that some of those hip parts displayed excessive wear. I opted to have those worn parts replaced in order to avoid an eventual extensive surgery since I am 84 years old. After several medical consultations, I chose Dr. Boiardo roper from the surgery. I was impressed with his fine reputation as a skilled surgeon, his professionalism, his gentle manner, thoroughness and true concern for his patients. After a short post- surgery convalescence; I am doing extremely well and have returned to my normal routine. His office assistants and office staff are efficient, pleasant and attentive. I would highly recommend Dr. Boiardo for any joint replacement surgery and/or revisions

Required emergency surgery for a broken arm and dislocated elbow, Dr. Boiardo could not have made me feel more comfortable in such a stressful situation. The surgery went incredibly well and I’m well ahead of schedule, despite an initial prognosis that was not so positive, all thanks to the doc! I would highly recommend to anyone in need of ortho surgery and feel incredibly fortunate that he was my surgeon.
