This should be a ZERO star review. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Ruffini in a timely manner; more than 3 month wait time is typical for this practice. Office staff does not respond in a timely manner, either you cannot get through to a live person or you need to make several calls before an issue is addressed. The most disturbing office practice and reason for my ZERO star review is refusal to refill a life-saving antidepressant medication in a patient who has been taking it for more than 10+ years. This cruel and dangerous "practice" has resulted in "cold-turkey" withdrawl for almost one month. I am disgusted by the heartless and callous approach to patient care in this practice.

Dr Ruffini has been my physician for many years. He is not only my Gastroenterologist but also my primary physician. He is a very thorough & professional excellent doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Ruffini for over twenty years and find him to have all of the attributes that a good doctor should have. If he appears to be busy then it is a confirmation of his competency.

I love Dr. Ruffini. He is professional, knowledgeable, has a good sense of humor, and knows what he is doing. I believe he cares deeply about giving his best service. I moved out of the state, so I don't see him now. However, I agree with everyone who reviewed him about his front office staff. Without exception the front staff is uniformly and unilaterally cold, rude, and disrespectful.
