needs to learn how to talk to people

My wife has been coming to her for 26 years and the past year. This place is a joke. Looking for a better doctor.

I moved to the Brighton area from Grosse Pointe about 5 years ago. With that, had to find a new primary care Doctor, always challenging to find a good, new provider. Due to location, I chose Dr. Sarah, not knowing what I would get. Have to say, 5 years later, could not of made a better choice. Dr. Sarah is the best physician I have ever had, in any area of care, in all my 62 years. She has always taken extra time, which is unusual for in the world of health care. Dr. Sarah has always been overly thorough, always accommodating in providing a visit, catering to my busy schedule, and always demonstrates overwhelming diagnosis to any health concern, taking great care in explaining any diagnosis, and plan of action. Even though I am very healthy, overall, Dr. Sarah always provides her recommendations to assure I stay that way, always discussing pro active thoughts, which is so appreciated, demonstrating her dedication to my health. Dr. Sarah is truly what all Dr's should be, professional, kind, pleasant, detailed, dedicated to her patients and just a pleasure to have as my primary care physician. I am so glad I made this choice, 5 years ago and look forward to many years in her care. My daughter is a Dr. with a thriving practice in North Carolina, which she is just starting. All I can hope for is that my daughter reaches the same levels of care, compassion, expertise as Dr. Sarah. If she does, all her patients will have a great Dr. for a lifetime of care!!!

Her and the other staff at the clinic helped save my relationship. My girlfriend can now sleep better and not hear me snore ever again!

Impolite enough to drive away an interest in business.

Dr Sarah Hussein is a wonderful, caring doctor. She literally saved my life. I was having shortness of breath and a weight on my chest. She sent me for CAT scan which was clear. 3 days later I was worse so she sent me for a second CAT scan (against typical protocol) but she listened to me, took my concerns seriously, and insisted I get a second CAT scan. This one showed multiple bilateral pulmonary embolisms (blood clots that had traveled to my lungs). I was immediately admitted to the ER and told I had a 50/50 chance at best of surviving 24 hours. If I had not gone for the second scan I would likely not have survived another 24 hours. Dr Hussein listens and takes your concerns seriously.

Dr. Sarah Hussain is on of the best PCP I have ever met. My wife has chronic health issues. Dr. Hussain and her office take VERY good care of ALL of her health needs!

A complete waste of time, and no positive results after spending thousands of dollars in treatment over the course of a year. I was mis-presrcribed the incorrect cpap machine which I paid for after a sleep analysis that cost a couple thousand dollars only to be asked to spend another night (and another couple thousand dollars) in sleep study to finally get prescribed the correct machine. So basically I wasted two or three grand on the wrong prescription which just went down the drain. The doctor is always running behind because she is slow. She will leave you sitting in an exam room for up to 45 minutes without checkin or anything. When you finally get to see her, she is always condescending and rude. I always left there feeling worse than when I went in, and feel like Ive been scolded. I feel like Ive been treated rudely and sucked dry of money.

Attentive, caring, supportive. Very nice. My favorite doctor, by far.

Dr. Hussain did not introduce herself at my first visit, failed to explain the parameters of the visit, and never paused to ask if I had questions, just barreled along her list of questions for me. When I attempted to ask one of my own after answering about 8 of her questions, she talked over me and did not ask me to repeat myself or follow up on my obvious questions. I felt shuffled through like a numbered deli customer, not a patient that should have felt the building blocks of trust start in that room. Don't waste time seeing her.
