In 2014, my son was 2 and he had to have major surgery. As a single mom, I was given choices, non I knew nothing about, regarding this surgery. Dr. Abdessalam and God helped guide me, in making the right decisions about my son' s surgery. I still get emotional thinking about this time in my life. We were truly blessed with the best surgeon. He was thorough, honest, and so helpful to both my son and I through this difficult time. I was definitely not expecting him and his team to take care of me too and they did, I didn't even have to ask! He also did extra tests to make sure my son could through the surgery we choose from the options given to us. He had a back up plan, and I remember him being so confident. He definitely knows what he is doing. He also did so good that you can't even tell that my son had surgery. Looks like a normal little boy. The doctor also gave us life permission to be seen by him with no referral if Caleb ever has any issues related to this surgery.

Dr. A has done surgery on Jax more than once. He removed a tumor that had taken over my sons kidney when he was only 2. He has been a great blessing to Jax and I! During an appointment to discuss an unrelated issue he noticed something that was over looked by a different specialist. This resulted in my child having a lobectomy at the age of 9. Who knows if Dr. A would not have found this obstruction what could have happened. We are so happy to have crossed paths with this wonderful man. He is so genuine and a kind man. I would trust him over and over again!

He called us before our scheduled appointment to let us know about some extra testing he did not think we needed done. This was a great relief to us as we already knew our son, who is only 5, was stressed about what was going on. Avoiding unnecessary, somewhat invasive, testing was a blessing. We were so impressed with his compassion and bedside manner!

Fabulous, explains things in a way you understand, answers all questions compete and never makes you feel rushed. Great follow through and we'll respected and liked amongst his peers. Likes you to be knowledgeable about what's happening and why. Great experiences.

Dr. Abdessalam is a great surgeon. He performed a successful surgery to my daughter after another surgeon at FAMC had done an appendectomy and had left abscess in her stomach.

Minor surgery of toddler was handled nicely. Recovery was as Dr Abdessalam explained prior to surgery . Importantly no pain after 48hr , no infection, and no swelling around area where incision was made! He is a great doctor! Answered all questions that were asked! Recommend him!

Dr Abdessalam operated on my four year old son, he is an excellent surgeon. He explained everything to me and was great with my son. He followed up with us and was very helpful during his recovery.
