List of Sonoo Kishu Advani's Reviews
My issues were addressed and I really see a difference between first and second visits. I would like to mention the young ladies in the reception, they are very nice and attentive! Thank you
Love her. Down to earth, listens to you and treats the root causes not just the symptoms.
This doctor has no regard for patient/ doctor confidentiality. Appalling
100% would not recommend. Besides there often being an issue with their technology and as a result needing to cancel an appointment too often this doctor rushed appointments after already being late and had terrible bedside manner. My first appointment she was bickering with a receptionist which was the first red flag. If you have questions about your labs then it’s a problem. Not only was I incorrectly diagnosed, after inquiring about my levels on a lab report I was told “I do not go strictly off of labs. If that’s what you want then find another doctor” So I did just that.
Initially I felt she helped me. Extremely long waits at the office were a problem but remote visits during Covid were reasonably on time. Dr Advani lacks any semblance of bedside manner. She is completely devoid of compassion and bordering on insulting. Also trying to get my records from the office is a nightmare.
I switched to this practice 2 years ago after finding my local endocrinologist to be severely lacking. I was thrilled with the care and service I was provided from Dr. Advani (hence why I’m even giving 3 stars). However, since merging with Atlantic Health my appointment was pushed 2 times (I also had to reschedule once). So today, 4 months after my original appt and after numerous calls to confirm I had my blood work done for my visit, I drive the hour to the office and am told they don’t accept my insurance. The receptionists blamed it on the merge and that my insurance didn’t transfer into their new system so they couldn’t see what insurance I had. So for all those confirmation calls to check on my bloodwork not a single person saw that the insurance was missing? Isn’t this part of the things you check? This doesn’t fall under my responsibility especially since my insurance was accepted up until 5 months ago. The receptionist said they could still see me and I could pay for the visit. Want to know what this office charged my insurance last year for a routine visit? Over $1000. There’s absolutely no way I could afford this. Too bad because I really liked Dr. Advani but this just was a huge waste of my time due to the office’s negligence and now I’ll never go back.
Dr. Advani is amazing! She and her staff are so helpful and have really helped me get my health back on track after discovering that I have PCOS and vitamin deficiencies. Other doctors never really took my concerns seriously, but Dr. Advani listened to all of my concerns and immediately created an action plan to get my health back on track. I am so beyond grateful for her help and am feeling better than ever! She is extremely honest, caring, and really wants to help her patients get healthy and feel their best. Can't recommend Dr. Advani enough!
The office is vey hard to reach. Never on time for a scheduled zoom call. Dr advani spends the least amount of time with you even on first visits. No one follows up. You hardly get 15 mins. Find a different doctor. I did! The worst!
I have been going to Dr. Advani for years and I could not be happier with her. My A1c is the lowest it’s ever been thanks to her and I feel great. She will show you tough love but it’s only because she cares and wants to see your health improve and I appreciate her for that.
I've been going here for years but am changing. She is judgmental and can come across as condescending, although I think it's just her personality. Not a great bedside manner. That said, I don't need to accept it as my standard of care. The office staff is not the best, I think she confuses them. There are long waits, and the Dr. pushes expensive supplements every time for hundreds of dollars. I'm not really sure there is much of a "holistic" approach going on here. It seems more of sales-driven care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
