I had my first physical with Doctor Barnum on 4/17. She was very nice and heard out my concerns. Now I can say leading up to today I’m extremely impressed with Mika from her office. I ended up receiving a bill for one of the bloodwork’s requested which falls under what a standard physical checks for (hemoglobin) my insurance in fact does not covered it unless I’m a diabetic which I’m not. Mika however reassured me and stuck by her word about helping me out and after so much back and forth she still then follow up with me to see if we would try something else to see if the insurance would pick it up. Dr.Barnum also got involved upon my private messaging her via portal for assurance. While there was no resolution and technically not the office fault I will say the level of Mika’s empathy was beyond words. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Barnum's balance of compassion, timeliness, and medical knowledge as a PCP goes unmatched. A lot of doctors barely spend any time with their patient, but Dr. Barnum really took the time to make sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed during my visit. On top of that she is up to date with current information, and very well-raed. I strongly recommend Dr. Barnum's expertise to everyone!
