I’ve been to the Westfield location twice and have had a great experience both times! The receptionist, nurses, ultrasound techs, and doctors have all been very kind and have taken the time to explain things. One time I waited about 20 minutes, one time I didn’t wait at all. That said, I don’t give NJ perinatal 5 stars because actually contacting them via phone is not a great experience and I didn’t find the people I spoke with terribly helpful. Very little understanding of first time mom’s concerns and got times wrong the first time I scheduled - thankfully I confirmed.

Wait times at Livingston office can be long like others have said, but the staff has always been friendly or at least professional. Recently we have been going to the Westfield office & there is rarely a wait to be called in. Would recommend.

First they tell us 6pm, get there at 5:55.. they tell us our appointment is at 5....and that it can be a while before we are seen... No way that is true, I work until 5PM, and would not make an appointment that early.. We're upset that happened, but sure we wait... At 7pm, over an hour later, they let us know that they can't see us today. Thanks for wasting an hour of our time. Terrible demeanor. Even if we were late, just tell us that they can't see us now, while make you wait for nothing

My experience was very different from the other reviews. There was no wait at all. I was called in right away and everyone there was extremely friendly.

This place is ridiculous! The waiting time is 1hr+. I should never have come to this place!! AVOID BOOKING APPOINTMENT HERE!

Over an hour and a half wait to be seen, rushed first visit to see our baby girl in an ultrasound. Highly discourage anyone from coming here.

Terrible. Recently started seeing NJ perinatal and it is a complete nightmare no matter the location. I was initially suppose to see the Westfield location the first time but they negligently scheduled me at the Livingston location the first time around, despite calling the Westfield location, I was not aware until I was at the Westfield location for my appt and the doors were locked and I called numerous times to just be informed that sometimes calls get bounced to different offices and they scheduled me elsewhere. After months, I finally get an appt with the Westfield office and the wait times are long and the whole reason I am seeing a high risk office is due to having a chronic illness (rare blood cancer). I had my second anatomy scan done + a basic blood draw due to experiencing complications, never heard back from NJ perinatal regarding the results, called several times to request a copy since there is no patient portal for patients to access their records and they either never pick up their phones, you leave countless voicemails just not to get a call back. I finally reach someone and request that my record be faxed to my oncologist because it is important that they have timely updates with my bloodwork, it was never faxed and they suggested calling NJ Perinatal’s main line to obtain records for myself, needless to say, I left several messages and my call was never returned. How exactly does an office that is geared around the management of high risk tend to mess that up, I have no clue but wouldn't advice going to any NJ Perinatal office if you’re intending on receiving any quality care and concern.

The wait times are actually obnoxious. Out of the 4 times I’ve been here it’s been a 2+ hour experience 3 of those times. In actuality the scan itself should take 20 min and talking with the doctor never takes more than 5 minutes, so why am I spending so much time sitting around the office? The last time I went in I let them know I needed to be done within an hour of my appt time because I had an important work meeting to get to and the medical assistant literally laughed at me and said “you might be seen by then but you definitely won’t be done.” If you have any choice at all of where to go avoid this office at all costs.

People are nice but expect to wait well past your appointment time. If you have to do a full bladder ultrasound, have fun waiting an extra 45 mins while you feel like you’re going to explode!

What an awesome place! Everyone that works there was so kind and made the experience so enjoyable from start to finish! The nurses and doctor were so personable! I look forward to my next appointment there!
