Joelle Manganella is truly a life saver. For the past year or so, I have dealt with excruciating back and debilitating neck pain. I have been to countless speciality doctors, taken off work for months of scheduled appointments, and driven too many trips to the hospital to no avail. Every healthcare provider I saw wrote off my pain as “undiagnosable” or referred me to another doctor to keep the cycle of unanswered medical pain going. I was ultimately fed up and up to my eyes in towers of bills and expenses trying to find some sort of relief. After receiving a script to go physical therapy from my primary practitioner, I headed over to my nearest Jag One facility to book a consultation and assess my condition. Upon arrival, I was happily greeted by the help desk and Justine assisted with my insurance cards and all other information. She was wonderful. Ultimately, I was taken to the back and sat on a massage table by a PT Aide who then introduced me to Joelle, my physical therapist. She was warm in her welcome and made me feel comfortable straight off the bat. She throughly listened to all my problems with professionalism and a level of compassion you just don’t see these days. She set forth on creating a workout/recovery plan for me and taught me correct form for all the exercises on my file. Weeks passed and I was starting to feel like “me” again, which was something I was beginning to feel was a lost cause. Fast forward to present day and a couple of months down the line, I am still attending Jag One and couldn’t be happier. Joelle has provided me such a sense of relief is it truly remarkable. I can finally enjoy my days off without being in agonizing discomfort- I’m living again. Joelle is a phenomenal physical therapist and truly deserves the recognition as such. She is helpful without being overbearing. She teaches me different techniques without making me feel less than or dumb. She listens to every singe ache I convey and applies it to my workout plan, switching up certain exercises that either seem to be causing more strain or simply, no longer serve me. I could go on for hours, but to keep it short and sweet: Give this girl a raise. She has proven to be exemplary in her profession and continues to change my life for the better with each appointment. Her approach to physical therapy is one to be used as an example for all aspiring PTs. She truly is meant for this type of work and I couldn’t recommend her more.
