Advocare Family Medicine Associates Williamstown's Online Review Report Card

I have not been here for about 15 years and the office people were horrible back then. I told the doctors every time and they just shrug their shoulders. They acknowledge it and say they can't do anything about it. I was looking to go back again and after reading all complaints, I can see that nothing has changed.

This is the worst office I have ever visited.The staff is rude, inattentive and combative. There always seems to be an issue with referrals and scripts, and communication from staff to patients is nightmarish. If it weren't for a halfway decent experience with the provider, I would give no stars.I would recommend seeking medical care from another practice.

So rude and unprofessional

The only reason they get 2 stars is because the doctors are halfway decent. I can never get anyone on the phone. They have had my X-ray results and the one person I do get on the phone says they aren’t in. When I called the radiologist, they said they have had them. They are rude when on the phone. Today I was so mad, I think I left them the nastiest voicemail I have ever left someone. And I get a return message claiming they did nothing wrong. As soon as I’m done with this situation, I will be leaving this practice. It’s a shame because I like the doctors. The office staff? Not so much.

Don't waste your time and money at this office. I have been going to Advocare practice for years but this is by far the worse office I've visited. Front Desk person Amanda is extremely rude and obviously has no people skills.

They don’t care that you need to be seen by a dr. I had an appointment for months and they call the Friday before and tell me (not ask me if I’m ok with Telehealth call) I tell them I need to see him because I need him to look at me. She didn’t ask what or why I couldn’t do it over video. She out right didn’t care and said NO he isn’t seeing anyone in person! So I told her looks like it’s time to find a new Dr.I understand about everything going on but when someone says they need to see the dr in person the least you can do is ask why and from there see if they need to be seen in person or explain that he would be able to do it by teleMed.If they truly cared they would ask questions and not assume that it can be done over teleMed.

Advocate in Williamstown NJ is the worst.staff is rude they don’t pay attention. They don’t return phone calls. They don’t follow up with cases. I complained and wrote letters for years the higher ups don’t hold their front line staff accountable. Finally I woke up took my good government insurance To Pinehill family practice. Exceptional outstanding care.

Worst customer service ever. Spoke with a representative named Amanda. Their office dropped the ball and cancelled my son's appointment. Amanda was belligerent, very combative and dismissive on how her office did not communicate consistently throughout their organization which could have alleviated any confusion. AND at the end, she hung the phone up deliberately as we were discussing the situation. The most unprofessional place I've ever been. No need to go somewhere and give them your money only to be treated like this. I highly recommend to NOT GO HERE!!!

I like Dr sharkey , on Monday Sept. 30th I had a 1:30 appointment ,when I got there the lady. Said my appointment was 1:15 , I was late go home and make a new appointment !!! It was 1:21 !!!! I'm a cripple wearing leg brackets and a cane and my wife helping me and even if the appointment was 1:15 (which is wasn't) I was 6 minutes late !!! And she sent me away !!! WAY TO SHOW SOME COMPASSION !! time to look for a new doctor !!!

Dr. Meeter is wonderful. I love having him as a doctor. However, what good is it to have a great doctor when you dread calling the office because the office staff is so cold & rude and dismissive?The only thing that keeps coming me back is the great doctor. I just wish that they had an office staff that worked up to the same standards of care & compassion as the doctors.
