At the time of seeing this doctor, I was 32+4 weeks pregnant with twins. This was my first pregnancy and I was diagnosed a few weeks prior with gestational diabetes. I met with Dr. Cardonick for a consult for GD, which I didn’t even know I was having while at my regular ultrasound appointment. This was my second appointment of the day. The first I left feeling such a sense of relief and much less stressed than I’ve been. After meeting with her, it ruined the rest of my day. She was brash and condescending, and didn’t seem to care one bit about me or my situation. I don’t know much about GD, and what I do I have learned mostly with my own research. She didn’t feel the need to explain things to me but instead spent our time together giving me an attitude because I get in bed early and she doesn’t understand why I can’t have a snack while I’m laying in bed. She made it sound like my numbers were in a bad range but they’ve actually been really good, yet she chose to focus on something that didn’t even seem relevant given my glucose numbers. My husband and I were appalled that someone in the healthcare profession could be that cold. Thankfully I don’t see her name on my schedule for any upcoming appointments and hope to never cross paths with this woman again.

This "doctor" has the personality and bedside manner of a stone. She is nasty piece of work and really should consider employment outside of the helping professions. Instead of counseling me, she offered judgment and indifference. I would not recommend under any circumstances.
