I had in grown eye lash that caused pain in my eye. To treat that, I have visited ophthalmologists for over 4 years to remove the intruding eye lash, but those eye lash will grow back in 3 or 4 months. I was recommended to see Dr. Scimeca, who permanently removed the intruding eye lash. His skill is top notch. I have since then trouble free from eye lash pain.

I had both cataracts replaced with toric lenses and no issues during surgery or after surgery. He is always friendly during the follow up visits. Office staff is friendly also.

My eyes will never be the same… and not in a good way. I’ve spent thousands and a thousands over the last few years since having lasik here. I am now on prescription drops 2x daily as well as blood serum tears 4x day and probably always will be. I will always issues now.. and my eyes will never feel or LOOK the same as they are pretty much always red. After speaking with other doctors… I was told that they would have never recommended lasik for me.

Rushes through exam. Not thorough. Does not explain, or listen. Missed several issues with my eye. Over a year after cataract surgery and many appointments, I still can not see clearly. His staff is unresponsive and made many mistakes. The billing department is understaffed and unresponsive.

I had cataract surgery on one eye in December 2021 and the other in January 2022. There were a few hiccups that were easily remedied and the results were great.

I had lasik done by Dr Scimeca. Best decision I ever made. Recovery experiences and preventive maintenance were explained very clearly making the recovery period uneventful. I have recommended him to friends and family.
