excellent doctor
I received horrible care from this doctor. He was referred by a relative and each time I visited him, he was non attentive. Once he left me in the room to take a sales call and talked for about 30mins. He consistently told me nothing was wrong despite my complaints until I ended up in the hospital with fluid around my heart. Even in the hospital, he spent more time eavesdropping on the conversation of another doctor of the patient next to me and paid no attention to my questions. When I visited him for the follow up, he walked out while I was talking mid-sentence and made a call regarding his computer not working. I was totally disgusted by this physician’s care…or lack thereof. I do not know how good of a doctor he was years ago, but I was very disappointed. Needless to say, I will never visit him again and would never recommend him.
You gotta wait until you ask for service!! And their assistance are so unprofessional dont know how to deal with their patients and they dont really care about your health and they call their self as dr!!
Oh my god the worst doctor I see in my life,he has so baaad attitude and don’t know how to speak with ladies.I wait 3 week for appointment and finally was there I wait like an hour with empty lobby don’t make any sense never ever want to go back to this doctor and I suggest you guys take some good doctor who care for your health.
This doctor is a disgrace! No stars would be accurate. He killed my father at JFK Hackensack Meridian Hospital in Edison, NJ by not administering the appropriate measures and treatment to ensure my dad would get better. He refused to listen to the suggestions of other doctors. This doctor is cold hearted, unprofessional, inconsiderate, unsympathetic and stubborn. He displays lack of empathy with a condescending approach during such an highly emotional time for both patient and family members. If you are looking for a doctor please do your research and I suggest you do not go to this doctor! He does not care for his patients and shouldn't be practicing medicine!
great doctor. dr alam has been taking care of my heart conditions for the last twelve years. he is very understanding and cares about his patients health, very happy to have him as my cardiologist
Terrible doctor. Not only am I stuck paying more than $5,000 for a test that at the end, I think was unnecessary, but when I went to get my results he just told me that I have nothing, got up and left me in limbo. I still having irregular heart beats and dizziness. Months later I found out that he wrote on my insurance website that I have Precordial Syndrome, and when I requested the test results it says I have the precordial syndrome and abnormal results of other cardiovascular funtions which is Short QT syndrome. Thank you Google for telling me what my doctor didn't. So I DID have something, not life threatening thank God, but he should've at least told me and explain what triggers there are so I could take action and reduce this irregularity. He also wrote on my insurance chart that he recommended me a healthy diet and exercise etc. which is not true. I feel that because the results were not life threatening, for him it's no big deal, but for me, I have to deal with this annoying arrhythmia everyday. The nurse was kind of embarrassed for his behavior and told me that the pain i have may be caused by the pressure in my lungs (What?!?) Well, at least she tried to explain something. I still have this horrible arrhythmia. I will have to take these results to another doctor who actually cares about the well being of their patients.
For the last ten years, Dr.Alam has been providing me with excellent care. He had a great bedside manner and has been great at managing my heart conditions with prescribing the right mix of medications and testing
Dr. Alam and his staff have set an environment where care for patients is blatantly neglected. He claims to be serving his community yet stopped taking medicaid insurance to serve his pockets. I waited over an hour to see him for a routine checkup that was overdue because of his staff's neglect. He is extremely rude especially to HIS community. To whomever is reading this, please make the extra drive to see another health care provider that cares for your wellbeing.
Excellent Doctor. Honest, Caring, Good bedside manner

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
