Tara M. Tomasso's Online Review Report Card

My husband and I have been patients since 2018, unfortunately neither of us will be coming back. Whoever answers the phone is very rude, she has no patience at all, she hung up the phone on me twice today. I have been calling since past week because I had some testing done and the results weren't good but it's been impossible to reach to Dr. Tomasso since the person on the phone simply keeps hanging up on me every time I call, it's a total disrespect and disregards for my concerns as a patient. I guess I need a new doctor because although so far Dr. Tomasso has been great I just can't accept this treatment from her receptionist and won't stand for it.

Dr. Tomasso is one of the most knowledgeable, experienced and accessible doctors I have ever had. She has made some difficult diagnoses that others would have missed. She is thorough and comprehensive. I highly recommend her.

I just called in to see if I could reschedule my appointment. The phone was answered and the person on the other end immediately started talking to someone in the office. She said "go ahead and take a few" or something to that effect. Then she hung up on me. So I called back and said " I have an appointment for tomorrow. I want to see if I can reschedule it for something in the future." She comes back and says "we're booked for tomorrow." I repeated what I stated before about ALREADY HAVING AN APPOINTMENT. So she tells me that the earliest appointment opening that they have is July 26th and some time in the morning. I told her that I would be out of town so I would like to keep the appointment that I already have. She then asks if I want to come in earlier at 10 or so. I told her no and I would go ahead and come in at the time I had. Her response was "so you want to keep the 11:15?" I said yes and she confirmed it. I said "thanks" and she immediately hung up on me without even responding. I like Dr Tomasso, but this was probably the worst interaction I have ever had with anyone in her office. I have been going there for a few years now and this was a rather terrible experience.

I’m grateful for Dr. Tomasso’s care of my father. She is caring, genuinely concerned about his quality of life, and no nonsense. I have a lot of respect for her.

I avoided the doctor for many years. I didn't want to confront any underlying issues that had been developing over years of neglecting my health. I decided it was time and found Dr. Tomasso. Her calm disposition, honesty, and encouragement were exactly what I needed. Together we've discussed a plan to get my numbers within healthy ranges, that isn't leading with medication but with healthier lifestyle choices. I'm very thankful that I found Dr. Tomasso, and encourage anyone who has been avoiding the doctor, to go see her. She is fantastic, and I'm excited to go back in a few months for my follow up appointment to see my progress.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would!! Extremely unsympathetic bedside manner and an arrogant woman. Dismissed my depression & anxiety as "Life's Stresses" that I just need to deal with on my own. When I tried to further explain my issues, she just kept looking down at her folder and did not listen to anything else I had to say. The next DAY, I switched to another local doctor who actually listened to me and immediately prescribed me the necessary medication I needed for my mental health issues. Do not seek medical treatment from Dr. Tara Tomasso!

Dr. Tomasso is one of the most consider people / doctor I have had the pleasure to meet with. She is very holistic with treatment, caring about your personal life knowing how it can impact your health. I have never felt rushed. She is an amazing listening and all around beautiful person.
